What is your Google Now replacement?

I remember for a little while, when Google Now was around, it would give me tons of useful information. Now, whatever the feed is when I swipe right, is just a glorified clickbait article feed. I want to see upcoming flights, travel suggestions, but I don't know where to begin. Is there anything like that on Android?

I got Android running on an insulin pump controller, the OmniPod Dash PDM to be specific.

The OmniPod Dash PDM is just a Nuu A1 with a custom launcher, that launcher being the insulin pump software. I was able to track down the Nuu A1's stock firmware, and as it's a MediaTek device, I was able to flash it with the SP Flash Tool, however when I attempted to boot, it just kernel panicked, it appeared it had some protection from you doing this, thankfully I had made a backup of the OmniPod firmware, so I tried flashing the Nuu A1 firmware, ...
