I just arrived in Morocco and I bought online an e-sim with Maroc Telecom. It was my first time using an e-sim, but the procedure seemed very easy as I received an e-mail with the QR-code and the instructions.
Then the disaster happened. I uploaded the QR-code to activate the sim, and suddenly I've been teleported to the PIN entry screen. Now the problem is that I wasn't expecting to lose access to my phone out of the blue like this, so I didn't memorize the PIN from the pdf. I tried everything ...

How to convince google to be serious about biometric authentication to stop thieves?

I'm from Brazil and thieves force you to tell your PIN with a gun to your head then take your phone. Android always allows for the fingerprint to be bypassed by the PIN so there's no way to protect from this. Also they get into your messaging apps and start asking relatives for money, not to mention looking for photos for extortion. People's bank accounts are being drained.

Popular opinion: android should support dark mode icon

Like in ios18, every dev should provide 2 icon variation: one for dark and one for light, or at least make background change from white to black.
