Xiaomi branded phones are coming to Australia for the first time ever with the launch of the Xiaomi 15t and 15t Pro on 10 Oct at noon AEDT

Exciting news down under. Before now, only Redmi phones have been available locally in Australia. Hopefully we eventually get the top tier ultra phones.

Of course, I just imported a 15t pro from Amazon UK for $300 more than the Australian price....

What current android phone takes the least-processed photos?

I don't mean RAW, I mean which ones by default do minimal processing and still look great? Pixel seems to do so much background work, I'm curious what else there is. I had previously considered Xperia but wasn't due for an upgrade yet....

Would Google's plan to restrict installing APKs cause open source developers to lose motivation?

This restriction affects both the developer and the user. Right now it's so easy for even non-tech savvy people to just install an app from an APK. If this goes through, your average (maybe even above average) Android user is not going to unlock their bootloader to install an alternate version of the OS without these restrictions.

Sure the process that developers would have to take of associating their app with Google will probably be easy, but you just know they're going to abuse this, especia...
