Android is 17 years old

Android will be 17 years old next month. My first Android device was in 2011. I had a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G, Android changed a lot with better security but it’s getting closer to iOS in some ways on Google Pixel.

Android was known to do anything and have freedom, things started to changed a little bit now but still the best phone OS in my opinion. Let us know what you think 17 years later, I hope you enjoying your Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold or Galaxy S25 Ultra....

**What does it do?**

Instead of pulling down notifications or switching apps to control your music/podcast/video, you can now:

* **See media progress** as a thin colored bar along your status bar
* **Swipe left/right** on the status bar to scrub through your media
* **Tap, double-tap, or long-press** three invisible regi...

Why there aren't more phones that support Qi2, according to Nothing

>The sad reality is it's down to legal, red tape, industry politics, and a whole load of bullshit. Even though Qi2 is a wireless standard that anyone can use, the magnet configurations that optimally support Apple compatible wireless chargers are patented and restricted. The only way to get around this is to develop your own magnetic wireless charger to work with your device, but because the magnets in your device are not the exact same configuration as Apple's Magsafe, there's a good chance the...
