Fixing screen diagonal figures for inconsistently tall phones

Much as I appreciate having a taller screen for multitasking, they also make for inflated screen diagonal statistics, which would be fine, were it not for the fact that there seems to be no agreement between OEMs on how tall their screens should be now.

Why hasn't one Android developer risen to the top?

Let me start off by saying that I'm making the swap from iOS to Android. I can't be bothered paying Apple tax on new devices. One thing that I will say that I've noticed over the course of my research is that there are a ton of companies making phones using Android. Even though it originated as a Google product, I don't see any clear "king of the hill". Am I wrong about this? I just see so many different makers (Google, Oneplus, Huawei, Xiaomi, Nokia, Sony, etc...) and none of them have the mark...

Android, rectangles, reviewers, notches.

Android phones should be able to break the constant cycle of rectangles only. Wear OS is circular.

I understand that reviewers have an odd fetish for rectangles; every new flagship phone has reviewers telling us how beautiful this "new" take on the rectangle is.

We are also told by reviewers notches are ugly, and bad; presumably because it throws off the rectangle said reviewer worships.

Why hasn't a curved edge android device been at least concerned as full feature device?

Took the S10 vs Mate 20 pro leak and added the S9

I figured some people wanted a direct 1:1 size comparison with the current S9, to compare screen real estate due to the camera hole and smaller chin.

Using ratio measurements in Photoshop [this](https://i.imgur.com/hFXSexX.jpg) is what I came up with.

Note the S10 is very slightly taller and wider, it isn't just the S9 with a screen stretched to the edges...

Infrared Camera for pocophone/Mi8/...

I've made an app that uses the front infrared camera to record videos and take pictures.
And I've also made it work with the secondary back camera but i don't see a reason to use it :)

It is not working with MIUI, they seem to have disabled the camera access, but it should wok with custom roms (lineage/AOSP/PE/...)
