I really want a modern Android version of the Palm Pre

For the record, I believe webOS was waaaaay ahead of its time and Palm squandered their opportunity to make a leader in the mobile OS space. Their gesture navigation in particular was spectacular and I miss it.

But I loved that phone. I'm a huge fan of the slider form factor and with modern specs I think it could be something truly special. Anybody else out there with me on this? ...

Then let us Backup our chats on Google Drive. Only Pixel Phones are able to do that. I use Samsungs Messenger which is RCS capable and it lets me Backup my Chats to the Samsung Cloud. However there is no Desktop Client. All I ask you is to let us back up our chats....

What do you think will happen to foldable phones in the winter?

I'm curious to know everyones opinions on foldable devices in the winter.

Anyone whos used headphones in -20°c (-4°f) will know how brittle wires can be. Imagine how delicate the innards of a $2,000 phone would be.

Google Assistant debuted in Taiwan with Pixel 3's expansion into the market. It's the first Chinese variant (Traditional/Taiwan) available for Google Assistant but previously only available when the phone is set to Chinese. It was not part of the menu for multiple language support. It has just been made available with a beta disclaimer....
