What do you think will happen to foldable phones in the winter?

I'm curious to know everyones opinions on foldable devices in the winter.

Anyone whos used headphones in -20°c (-4°f) will know how brittle wires can be. Imagine how delicate the innards of a $2,000 phone would be.

Chinese (Taiwan) is now in beta for Google Assistant multiple languages

[Chinese in beta.](https://i.imgur.com/TpK5qPT.png)

Google Assistant debuted in Taiwan with Pixel 3's expansion into the market. It's the first Chinese variant (Traditional/Taiwan) available for Google Assistant but previously only available when the phone is set to Chinese. It was not part of the menu for multiple language support. It has just been made available with a beta disclaimer....

I've just bought possibly the worst phone I'll ever buy. What's the worst phone you've ever bought?

Background: I broke my Moto G4 Plus, thankfully I'd had the foresight to pick up a cheap Telstra-branded ZTE whilst travelling Australia. I lost it, so I've bought another, cheaper and older - released a month before the Moto G4 Plus - Telstra-branded ZTE, which requires 3 to 4 hours charging before first use, no joke.

Anybody able to better that?...

Did Samsung accidentally leak the S10?

Two days ago I read [this news article](https://news.samsung.com/global/samsungs-one-ui-a-singular-smartphone-experience) in Samsungs newsroom section about One UI - the first picture in the article clearly showed a phone with rounded screen, small bezels and an in-display camera on the top right of the screen, just like the S10 leaks suggested.

Today the article picture changed and the phone disappeared from the graphic, but take a look for yourself:

YouTube doing free background playback and Picture in Picture?

Hey everyone!

Woke up this morning, normally scrolling through Reddit and YouTube when I noticed a small notice on the YouTube app, something about background play that I swiftly ignored. Nice one I know. After hitting the power button while I was watching a video, the video kept on playing! With full playback controls in the notification area and along with Picture in Picture mode. I checked to see if I accidentally activated the YouTube Red/Premium free trial and nope I'm still a free user. I...

{Root} Bypassing mobile hotspot sharing and gaming limitations for Unlimited Data plans on Android using a VPN

Recently I got a “no frills, no limits” unlimited data plan for 33$ a month. I got it because I’m out and about a lot and on many occasions I’ve found myself needing to do something on my laptop requiring an internet connection.

I was quickly disappointed to find out that many websites were simply unaccessible, didn’t work for certain devices and that I could only share about 2GB of data before getting locked out. So thus began my quest to find a way to bypass the limitations my carrier had o...
