[IDEA] Using the Hole Punch as a battery indicator/clock!

What if we used the hole punch as a design feature rather than a design flaw? We can save on the space used on the right e.g. battery indicator or time and make a battery ring or analog clock? Excuse my shitty drawings...but you get the idea -- no need for the clock/battery on the right if you can use the ring around the camera

The idea here is now you actually end up with more notification space....

What is one thing that has been removed from "stock" Android that you would like for them to bring back?

Would love to see everyone's opinions. I miss the lollipop icons. The new play apps, in a triangle, in a white circle looks beyond stupid. ...

**1)** How worried are you about Google and others apps tracking you on your smartphone ?

**2)** Ever considered buying a Iphone instead of a Android because they track you less ?

**3)** Are you vigilant in the way you "use" your smartphone and what kind of apps your running or you don't care ?

**4)** Does it bother you that this trend is starting now with SmartTv and others kind of device like Google/Amazon assistant etc ?...

Opinion: What's the point for manufactures to rid the headphone jack if you can't use your USB-C earbuds on several phones that aren't compatible?

Since apple killed off the headphone jack in the iPhone 7 it seems some companies that run Android software would follow suit and theirs not many usb-c earbuds out and even if you own one some won't work on the pixel phones. Smh. This is a bad trend that should never be followed....

An overlooked feature I'm glad made it into Samsung's Android P

With the recent update of Android 9.0 for the Note 9, Samsung introduced a ton of new changes to their UX. Most of them being UI changes. There is however one change that I'm very happy about.

It's the ability to take a screenshot instantly.

Having previously owned a Mate 10 Pro, which is also a "tap power+volume down for instant screenshot", I missed this feature so damn much. I never understood why you had to hold for 2 seconds compared to iOS' counterpart were you could just tap them. I h...

USB-C has turned buying a phone, into buying into a ecosystem.

This dawned on me last night. I saw the S10 photos and considered maybe getting one.

Currently I have 3 OEM Google chargers, 1 Anker charger, and a Google dock (I got it for $40, $5 more than a extra charger). All of these are USB-C PD. I wouldn't be getting the most out of them using them on a Galaxy S10. Samsung uses Quick Charge 3.0. I would have to buy several new cables adding quite a bit of extra money making the jump. If I decide to go with a OnePlus 7 when that comes out, it becomes an...

The Leaks for the Samsung S10 with the hole punch has the camera on the opposite side from the A8S.

Does this bother somebody else? Seems like a good way to get app developers to need to make different versions of the apps for each device. Much of this might be solved with the ONE UI that Samsung has started or will start releasing shortly.

Wouldn't it be better to have the camera on the left side of the screen as that is furthest away from most peoples fingers? (sorry lefties)

It might also give the Samsung phones a bit less recognition. However some might argue that th...
