Any news about upcoming tablets that is more powerful than Snapdragon 835?

Just got back to tablet hunt after 4-5 years. I'm surprised to see that the fastest one(galaxy tab s4) is still using Snapdragon 835.

I'm holding back for Mobile World Congress on Feb 24, 2019. But from quick googling, no brand seems to want to announce any high end tablets. The only major brand rumored to unveil new tablet is Samsung. And that's not even a high-end model(Galaxy tab A). So, topic. >\_<...

Google app material theme rolling out more widely with 9.0.5.21

Recent update finally gave me the material theme for the Google app. Of note is the muuuuch condensed settings menu, subtle drop shadows for recents, as well as a redesigned 'more' page.

What are some aspects of the phones most of the people seem to prefer but not a deal breaker for you?

If you go through any tech forums, you'd see lot of people clamoring for various things - front facing stereo speakers, NFC, water-proofing, wireless charging, notification LED. There have been a few instances where majority of the people demanding for a particular feature and yet it's no deal breaker for me.

**Stereo speakers:** I've seen hundreds of users craving for the front facing stereo speakers. It makes me wonder if all these people just watch videos playing out loud. I always plug in m...

PSA: AppOpsX is apparently being used to commit click fraud/advertising fraud.

X-post from /r/AndroidApps.

I received on a popup on my Pixel XL 2 that I've never seen before: a warning, apparently from Google, that AppOpsX was using devices to commit advertising fraud, and asking if I would like to uninstall.

I immediately clicked uninstall, but decided to investigate a little, in part because I do not have Play Store's protection/app check enabled, and I hadn't heard of this sort of message before. So I was concerned that the message itself might be caused by some sort ...
