Worst Qualcomm Snapdragon processor?

Ik everyone says it’s the 810 but that is at least speedy.

I honestly think it’s the 615/617 line of snapdragon processors. I have an Alcatel Idol 4 (as a backup phone now) with a 617. The cpu got incredibly hot and Geekbench shows that it can be slower than a 430/425, which is way more efficient, This might be my android version to blame but I looked around on Geekbench and other tests have the same results.

What do you guys think?...

Ever wondered how amazing are the pictures from Pixel 3? Also, how much of that amazement is down to pixel processing, sensor capability, optics and the Google Camera app? All Google Pixel phones come with (mostly) the same camera app and very similar on paper, sensors.

TIL: When using google's call screener function, if you touch the volume up or volume down button, you can hear the callers response on speakerphone without them hearing you.

I pressed the call screener button and almost dropped my phone, I hit the up volume as I caught it and then I could hear the person talking. I thought I had answered it by accident so I was trying to talk to them, but they could not hear me.

I did a quick test and called myself from my office number and found that hitting the up volume or down volume will allow you to eavesdrop on the conversation with google.

Why has there been no phone similar to the Lenovo P2 in the past two years?

To those unaware this was a budget device that rocked a SD625, A Super AMOLED and to top it all off a 5100MaH battery that launched in 2016.

It just baffles me that Lenovo was able to make a device like this in 2016 and we've yet to see any other manufacturer come out with a similarly specced device.

Is there a reason why no one besides Lenovo has done it? Is it just not profitable to create a device with specifications like those?...
