Opinion: It's not the length of phones that puts me off from large phones, it's the width.

Phones have been increasing in size over the past few years and finding compact flagship level phones is like looking for an unicorn. That being said, tall, large phones are fine. There are plenty of tools and navigation gestures you can integrate to compensate for lack of reachability. However wide phones are difficult to deal with.
