Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (6GB, 128GB) Exynos Definitive Written Review

To start off, I've recently switched to the note 9 from my old and trusty Galaxy S7 which has served me well for the past 3 years. However as I have come to expect, my S7 is suffering from very bad slowdowns as well as atrocious batter life which made me decide to finally upgrade. At first I was thinking of getting a OnePlus 6T. Great specs, value for money etc. But because my carrier(Singtel, Singapore) did not offer OnePlus Devices. I chose the note 9 easily over the Iphones which costs absolu...

What do you have to gain from buying a flagship phone on launch-day instead of waiting for price drop or buying last year's flagship?

If you wait more than a month after launch-day, it's all but guaranteed that the phone's price will drop. **The more you wait, the bigger the discount** will become. After one year, it will cost 50% of the original price (hundreds of $ less).

New flagship vs last year's flagship:

\- The **camera** on the new flagship is **only marginally better** than last year's flagship. You probably **c...

Last night when I went to change the SIM card, I removed the case only to find that it's color had transferred to the phone!

Not sure if this is due to heat, humidity, etc... but it doesn't seem to rub off. The cover of the SIM sl...

The spec sheet is not the only thing in a phone

Seeing the recent launch of the Moto G7 series and people complaining that they have too weak SoC's for the price or whatever, the only OEM that I can see this being the case is Samsung with their budget devices. And they did a good job on fixing it on their new M lineup.

There are lots of things you can measure in a phone. Design, build quality, software (stability / bug-free / updates / UI smoothness), usability, camera, features, microphone quality, signal strength, battery life, etc.

Let m...

What are your favourite lesser known custom roms?

I've personally heard good things about Hades rom and the likes of that but sadly never go to use them. What are some of yours?...

Idk if this is new but people here talk a lot about splash screen being blinding, and this may imply that dark splash screens are coming.
