Last night I updated [All Clear Weather](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.allclearweather.android) (US) for the first time in a month with some major changes. This is my weather app that is more than a weather app! With a focus on *clear communication of weather data*.

I've heard a lot of your feedback saying the design was too old, too full of strong gradients, and overall just poorly designed. I am listening to your feedback and made a number of UI improvements...

The "hole punch" displays are all about branding.

Does anyone else feel like Samsungs "hole punch" displays are nothing more then a branding exercise?
They could have done a teardrop design but that would look like Oneplus. They could have done a notch but they made fun of it and it would look like every other phone that has one. They chose the hole punch so when you see it from across the room, you know it's a Samsung phone. ...

BEWARE: Kia and Pixel phones are 'incompatible'

Just got off the phone with Kia customer service reps. After having my pixel 2 replaced 3 times by Google's awesome customer service, I finally got ahold of Kia. I was told that pixel phone permissions prevent them from being connected to the UVO console in Kia vehicles. I was advised to purchase a device that is not a pixel for any connectivity such as for Android Auto. Wish that had been disclosed to me prior to purchasing my vehicle....

The next generation of Smartwatches should have swappable bezels

Some days I want to have a silver accent, some days I want gold.

Most people who wear watches own multiple different watches so why not let smartwatches act similarly?

Do you use a launcher? Why or why not?

Personally I've been using Nova for like 5 years now and I've always had Samsungs. I mostly use it because I like the ability to have gesture shortcuts and more customizability than is present in stock launchers. But I haven't used a stock launcher in so long that I have no idea if they're improving to the point of making custom launchers unnecessary. ...

Microsoft Launcher

Just tried this out and I've got to say, I love it. I've had my pixel for a couple years now and the UI was getting kinda boring (I know, I'm going to get a lot of hate), but the Microsoft Launcher got me excited about my phone again, I used to dive into settings and stuff whenever I got a new phone and it gave me a chance to do that again. There's some parts that annoy me, maybe I'm just not used to them but overall a really good launcher. ...
