I have a Redmi Note 7 Pro with me. Been using it for the last 2-3 days now. Thoughts below.

1) Jesus christ. It is amazing how much value for money this phone offers. I am considering cancelling my Galaxy S10 pre-order tbh. Primarily due to the performance and battery life balance that it strikes.

People on this sub are often complaining about bloatware, but no one ever talks about Wear OS (Android Wear) and the half-baked Google bloatware being shoved down out throats with each automatic update.

Hello I'm one of the dozens Wear OS users still around today; I have a Huawei Watch 2 which I initially loved but now hate with passion because of what Google has done to the software on it.

I've just had to reset my watch because of some bugs that were introduced (with automatic and seamless updates) which broke some features I often used (like theater mode, fixed by the factory reset, and telegram notifications) and added some features which I have no interest in using like Google Pay and Goo...

Re-use previous Android phone

So I just got an old Samsung A5 (2016) from my ~~boyfriend's sister~~ sister's boyfriend as he got himself a brand new.

I was thinking about how to use it and not put it to sleep in a drawer.

My first thought was to use it as a server for music streaming instead of my PC. I currently use subsonic and am really happy with it and didn't search yet if I could easily install server side on Android.

Do you have others ideas ?...
