How to downgrade Pocketcasts to v6.4.15 - nothing illegal and no malware files

Alright, this is how to downgrade Pocketcasts from V7 to 6.4.15

Make sure to sync your data with an account, else everything will be deleted. If possible check if it worked with another device, as I take no responsibility if you lose your data.

1. After backing up your account delete the current version of the app.

Sad announcement: after a few days of experimenting and kernel source digging, I came to the conclusion that systemless Magisk is only possible on the recovery partition on the S10. Samsung's bootloader restricts what is possible on normal booted scenarios.

What should a new android user know for customization/optimization?

I'm just looking for some advice that could get me (or anyone who has converted to android) started on customization or optimization features that a new user may not know. Any tips, tricks, or suggestions would he greatly appreciated.


Background: I'm on my second Samsung phone (S9), and I've never really tried to explore what I can do with it (compared to apple products) to better suit my wants/needs. I consider myself to be tech literate but no where near as advanced as some of you.

What do you get on Android that keeps you using it?

For me, it's the possibility to change stuff up the way I like it. Like how you can install themes, change launchers, root, etc.

As is the case with my Moto G5s Plus. I rooted it, installed a Pie custom ROM, and just had fun with the way things looked, or the way certain things behave.

It's fun, and that's the thing that keeps me just shy of buying an iPhone....

What’s the longest period of time you kept a single phone for?

My Nexus 5 I kept for about two years, which is the longest I’ve kept any phone. My average is probably somewhere around a year though....
