Best camera phone HARDWARE?

Pixel 3 and Galaxy s10 both use the same main camera as the previous model (Pixel 2 and Galaxy s9) yet they are using the camera to justify the premium prices. If we take the software out of the equation, what will the reviews be like? After all, software can always be updated and the recent gcam ports have shown that Pixel's superior software can work with superior hardware.

Looking purely at the sensor, which is the most important component for capturing light and fine detail, the b...

To all those Android users who have become enveloped in the Samsung ecosystem. Honestly, is it worth it?

I remember the days when all accessories had all the features available on all devices but now there are mini ecosystems forming everywhere. It's the "Apple" effect. I had a Pixel 2 when the Pixel Buds came out and they were fantastic! Until I got a OnePlus 6t. They no longer supported quick pairing and the translation feature was no longer available. Why? Now I see the Samsung Galaxy Watch in front of me along with the Galaxy Buds and I have to wonder...what features do I give up to have this? ...

Samsung pushing suspicious update of the Notification app through Play Store

I just went to the play store to manually update my apps, as I occasionally do, and noticed one I hadn't seen before.

First image shows it's an update to Notification, which is fine in itself, but there is no information beyond that.

Second image is of the incredibly suspicious screenshot that they added with the app.

[Many reviews](https://i.imgur.com/5DjOeWJ.jpg) seem to share the concern for how lazily samsung pushed this u...

Really wish the Android scene wasn't saturated with the same design

The only top contending UI these days are either stock android or Samsungs skin, disregarding the Chinese market with their iOS lookalikes. Custom roms all look exactly the same, changing how the battery icon looks between portrait or circle or changing the clock positions shouldn't be called "customization rich". I understand that developing a stable rom is more than enough as it is but in order to stand out and bring about a competition in the android landscape, a different UI is key. This rea...

Could Google integrate Android into a Stadia-like clouded based OS?

If they can run AAA noscripts and have a seemless interaction, why not basic chrome/windows/android programs and apps? I would love to be able to access any of my content, not just games, on any compatible interface. All you would technically need for a mobile device is a 4K display, a good battery, and wifi/data connection. And a Chromecast (or similar) connectable device. Everything is else is cloud based. Personally it would be an ideal solution....
