P30 Pro initial thoughts from a regular user

Will keep this short as I've only been using it for three days.

* On opening the box, first reaction is, wtf, where's the screen protector???
* Second reaction, where the f's the silicon case like I had with P20 pro???
* Third reaction, not even a USB-C headphone adapter? The cheap bastards!
* Wrap around screen is the nicest I've used, and much more responsive at the edges than any on the sammy's, I'm not shouting in frustration when trying to move icons from one screen to another
* It...

Which "axed" Android feature do you miss?

So this post is partly about venting and partly hoping for someone with more of an understanding of software development to offer some cogent feedback.

So I've been reflecting in recent times on the trend of Android updates since the move from Kit Kat to Lollipop. One thing that I've noticed is that overtime updates have been improving the "out of the box" experience and overall visual simplicity of Android. The "under-the-hood" improvements have also been stellar (Pie's handling of background ...

Samsung S10 (Exynos - European version) huge battery problem.

After a few days of hell reading loads of threads on XDA forums and various Reddit posts :

1. Samsung S10 Exynos - Average : 4h37 SoT
2. Samsung S10 Snapdragon - Average : 6h21 SoT

That's it. Samsung didn't even acknowledged the huge battery issue on the S10. Why isn't this blowing up ? It's just not normal...

My 2 month long experience with Android Auto

Hi all,

So I am making this post to talk about my experience with Android Auto because it was certainly a nice perk to consider as an lifelong Android user and I think others might want to know as well.

**Phone** - LG V35

**Car** - 2019 Nissan Sentra SR

**USB Cable** - LG provided, Pixel XL provided, Anker bought on Amazon

_______

So how has the past month+ with Android Auto been?

Absolutely awful. I don't know if it's a problem with the car but I've tried multiple cables and have even d...

Someone needs to implement a way to make notifications not show up between certain hours for certain apps. I don't want to be bothered by work during my free time, but I do need other notifications, and I do need work related notifications during work.

Too many employers treat hourly or salary shift workers like they need to be on call via corporate messaging apps (like group me). Shifting that culture starts with giving us the software tools to make it so we don't have to "ignore" the messages. If you say to your boss that you only get notifications for work during office hours, they might be irritated, but that sets the precedent that if they email you at night, you aren't seeing that they emailed you and then ignoring them, you are simply n...

For those who are having syncing issues even after shifting to Inbox v1.77 (Sept 2018 version).

I noticed today that the version (v1.77) which was suggested in order to keep using Inbox even after it's demise is no longer working; it doesn't sync anymore (sync is experiencing problems, try again later error). But switching to an even older version (v1.75) fixes the sync issues.

v1.75 [APKMirror](https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/inbox/inbox-1-75-204395571-release-release/)...
