Stock Android should have a option to resize (shrink) the navigation bar
I have a huge device and I am using on-screen navigation buttons. (Hate the gesture trend whatever)
Not exactly a problem but later on I rooted my phone andfound a Magisk Module that shrinks the navigation bar height. I was kind of surprised that you can shrink navigation bar size, but now I never looked back.
Ever since, a few of my friends randomly saw me using my phone and asked me why my navigation buttons were smaller than usual. Told them they needed root and they were disappointed. They...

New open source Android Gradle Plugin to create android snapshots!
Hi guys, we just released a new open source Android Gradle Plugin ([https://github.com/xmartlabs/android-snapshot-publisher](https://github.com/xmartlabs/android-snapshot-publisher)) called Android Snapshot Plugin. It allows you to create Android Snapshot versions in the simplest way possible (or at least that is what we believe!) You can find more about it via our blog [https://blog.xmartlabs.com/2019/04/18/Introducing-Android-Snapshot-Publisher/](https://blog.xmartlabs.com/2019/04/18/Introduci...

PSA: Awareness of Android's 'Emergency Information' Feature
As many know, you can add your emergency information such as address, emergency contacts and - importantly - your medical information such as blood type, organ donor status and medical notes.
This is a fantastic feature, as it can be used to help return a lost phone, or possibly determine the medical attention somebody needs. This feature is only useful if people are actually aware of it though, so it's important many people use it. Even if you don't have special medical needs, it's useful to k...

I feel pretty confident that Pixel 3a is still coming to Verizon, per @RDRv3's previous report. That would make it a two carrier phone: Verizon and T-Mobile.

Motorola's flagship Z2 force still runs on 2017 software (Android 8.0) in Q2 of 2019
As the noscript says, Z2 force is still motorola's true flagship phone around the world since z3 is a verizon exclusive phone and z4 might come with a mediocre SD675 (lol) chipset as per the rumours.
Considering how tight the market it, Lenovo owned motorola has decided to give up the trouble to update their premium range phones.

Z2 force was launched with a hefty price of $700 worldwide and 34999 INR in India.

RAM Manager for Magisk - a fix for aggressive app killing on android
So, I got a 3gb ram phone in 2017 - an upgrade from a 512 mb phone. I also had a 3gb ram tablet - which on Kitkat kept something like 300 mb ram free. Upgrade to Marshmallow, and the amount of free ram increased to ~800 mb, and the multitasking capabilities decreased drastically. The 3gb ram smartphone was marshmallow too, and it couldn't keep more than 5 apps open - often, even 3 would be a problem.
