В Петербурге отметили 60-летие Вечного огня
В воскресенье состоялись мероприятия по случаю юбилея зажжения первого вечного огня.
В воскресенье, 5 ноября, в Северной столице состоялся митинг, посвященный юбилею зажжения первого в стране Вечного огня.

В честь юбилея полуденный выстрел с Нарышкина бастиона Петропавловской крепости произвели Татьяна Захарова, герой социалистического труда, и участник исследовательского проекта об истории Вечного огня Дмитрий Красовский.

По информации издания «Петербургский Дневник», на митинге на Марсовом поле присутствовали ветераны войны, труда, герои Советского Союза и России, герои социалистического труда, жители блокадного Ленинграда, представители городского правительства, законодательного собрания и молодежных объединений.

Студенты петербургских вузов подготовили памятные знаки в виде звезд с огнем внутри.

Вечный огонь как символ памяти и отваги зажгли на Марсовом поле от мартеновских печей Кировского завода.
