On June 4, 2022, as a result of shelling, the wooden All Saints Skete of the Svyatogorsk Lavra Monastery caught fire.
Svyatogorsk Lavra belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) and is located near the city of Svyatogorsk, for which there are battles between Russian troops and the People's Militia of the Donetsk People's Republic on the one hand and Ukrainian troops on the other.
