🇺🇦🇷🇺 - One of the reasons Russia has made so much use of UAVs during this conflict is because of their cheapness - especially compared to the air defense systems used by Ukraine. A "Geran" drone costs $10k; a Ukrainian missile system can cost up to $2m. Even when the Ukrainian claims that "працюе ППО" (air defense is working) turn out to be correct and Russian drones are shot down, Russia still manages to deplete Ukraine's missile stocks and the West's treasuries at little cost to itself.
