🇺🇸⚡️- New Orleans police has confirmed 35 injuries, an increase from the previous 26 reported.

🇺🇸⚡️- Eyewitnesses of the attack in New Orleans report that the attacker slammed his pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street before colliding with an excavator. He then exited his vehicle, armed with an assault rifle and wearing body armor, and began firing at officers.

He was neutralized by NOPD officers shortly after opening fire.

At this time, the suspect has not yet been identified, although this may change in the coming hours.

🇺🇸⚡️- Fox News has is alleging, citing alleged federal sources, that the perpetrator of today's attack in New Orleans crossed the border from Mexico into Eagle Pass, Texas only two days ago.

President-elect Trump issued a statement hinting at the perpetrator being a criminal migrant.

🇺🇸 - Bear in mind- there is no proof of this as of now. The New Orleans Police Department will be holding a press briefing in one hour on the attack, and the perpetrator may be identified by then.

🇺🇸🏴⚡️- A photo of the deceased attacker has been circulating online. The pickup truck nearby matches the pickup truck used in the attack.

The alleged deceased attacker appears to be of Middle Eastern or Arab origin.
