Around 10-15 Ukrainian soldiers broke into Demidovka, but failed to establish a foothold in the south of the town. The intensity of fighting has reduced over the past few hours, with Ukrainian forces making less attempts to storm the towns.

The two countries are moving to officially demarcate and solve their border disputes, which caused clashes between Kyrgyz and Tajik troops in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan both have unsettled border disputes covering over half of their border, meaning the ratification of this treaty will seriously change their border and how it appears on maps.
