More importantly, Wazalendo have captured the large town of Gandjo, which lies on the RP1030 Highway. Fighting ongoing at Bibatama, which is just 4.5km north of the strategic town of Kingi.

Wazalendo are closing in on Goma, with less than 28km until they reach the city outskirts.

🇸🇸⚡- South Sudan's government shuts down the largest opposition outlet, Juba News Daily, all of their social medias have been deleted.

🇸🇸⚡- South Sudan's pro-government sources claim they have captured the White Army stronghold of Nasir City.

Nuer sources have not yet confirmed the report, however fighting has been ongoing in the Maiwut and Nasir regions since Easter.

🇹🇩🇦🇪 - On April 18, Chad's President Mahamat Idriss Deby met with UAE's Mohamed bin Zayed.

🇨🇩🇷🇼⚡- BREAKING: M23 have withdrawn from a number of towns in the Bukavu direction, eastern DR Congo, including Lemera, Kasheke and Kabamba. There were clashes between the M23 and Wazalendo last week in the area.

It's unconfirmed if the M23 are rotating troops, or according to South Kivu outlet, Tazama, M23 are prioritizing the Bukavu-Kamaniola front instead. There is also no confirmation on whether Wazalendo have entered the area.
