The parties, led by the Housing Minister Goldknopf's Yahadut HaTora, will decide whether to leave the coalition, dissolving the government, or not. The disagreements with Likud arose over Yuli Edelstein's backed IDF connoscription law.

The meeting is expected to last over several hours, it could potentially last well into the night (Tel-Aviv time). If the parties agree to call for a vote, they have to be certain they will win, otherwise whatever the outcome, there cannot be another vote to call for dissolving of the government for the next six months.

Representatives from Likud and Likud allies are meeting with representatives of the ultra-Orthodox to delay the vote for at least another week.
