🇨🇳⚡- China unveils plans for a high-speed railway line to transport cargo along the new 'Middle Corridor' (TITR).

The railway will start at Almaty (Kazakhstan), and travel through Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Sarakhs (Iran), Tehran (Iran), Ankara (Turkey), Istanbul (Turkey), and finally into Europe.

TITR notably bypasses Russia completely. Earlier this month, on July 17th, the first 2,000 ton cargo freight train departed along the TITR.
