🇵🇸🇮🇱 - Situation update in the Gaza Strip:

In May, Israel launched the Gideon's Chariots Operation, hoping to increase territorial control of the Gaza Strip to 75% - which has not happened. The offensive has been a complete disaster.

Israel controlled 40% of the Gaza Strip before the operation, Israel now controls 179 sqkm of territory - 49% of the strip. 75% of the Gaza Strip has been declared a no-go zone for Palestinians, restricting their access, however, as stated not all of the no-go zones have come under IDF control.

The security cabinet is expected to meet today, with Likud's right-faction pushing ahead with the complete Gaza annexation plan, which is rejected by Strategic Minister Dermer and Defense Minister Katz, who support encircling Gaza city only.

🇱🇧⚡- Mohammad Haider, Lebanon's Minister of Labor, representing Amal, says Hezbollah-Amal proposed postponing the discussion on US Envoy Barrack's papers until the end of the month, to discuss them alongside the Lebanese army plans for disarmament of non-state actors, which are also scheduled for the end of the month.

President Aoun and Prime Minister Salam rejected the Hezbollah-Amal proposal, after which Hezbollah and Amal withdrew from the session.

🇱🇧⚡- BREAKING: The Lebanese cabinet has decided to approve the US Envoy Barrack's papers. Non-state actors, including Hezbollah and Amal, will be disarmed!

The decision was made without the ministers of both parties, after they withdrew.

The Haredi are protesting the connoscription law, and the possibility of further connoscription call-ups if the annexation plans are approved. Meanwhile left-wing Israelis are protesting an end to the war, demanding a hostage-ceasefire deal.
