It's the only Xiaokang in any of China's disputed territories. Construction of the town stopped in 2020, likely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Xiaokang villages are new settlements built by the Chinese government after they demolish old historical villages, forcing the locals to resettle in the new population centers. Almost all, except one (34.4375859, 102.3004402), are built in Tibet.
