Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov summed up the meeting, saying that "no compromises have been found so far, and a meeting between the Russian and U.S. leaders is not planned at this moment."

According to him, "the specific wording of the U.S. peace plan was not discussed at Putin's meeting with Witkoff." Moscow received four additional documents beyond Trump's original peace plan, Ushakov said.
