The intent of the exercises are also much clearer, with the use of "blockade" and "shielding Taiwan" from the US.

🇹🇼🇨🇳⚡️- Taiwan's Coast Guard has just released an image showing Chinese Coast Guard vessel 1303 not far in the distance.

The Chinese Coast Guard has not announced its involvement in the ongoing exercises in the area, but the Taiwanese CGA reports an increase in their activity.

🇹🇼🇨🇳⚡️- On one of the PLAN vessels in a propaganda video showing the new Chinese exercises, there is a picture of Taiwan with the text: "Complete unification of the Motherland — it must be achieved, and it will be achieved."

🇨🇳🇹🇼⚡️- China's Maritime Safety Administration has expanded the warning zones around Taiwan to include 2 new zones, Zone 6 and Zone 7.

🇹🇼🇨🇳⚡️- BREAKING: The Chinese Coast Guard has announced organized vessel formations to carry out comprehensive patrols in the waters surrounding Taiwan and in areas near the Natsu and Wuqiu islands. AIS data shows multiple CCG vessels in the waters north of Taipei.

They have effectively announced a blockade.
