One airstrike struck the Rafi-Hoveyzeh border crossing with southern Iraq. A second struck the Yadman Sharhani border crossing with central Iraq (at approximately 32.3521956, 47.4388217).

The strikes are unusual as Iranian Kurdish groups are not based in the south or center of Iraq. The strikes could be targeting supply routes to Iran-backed Iraqi militia groups.
