🇨🇳⚡️ - China's foreign minister has warned of a potential confrontation between the PRC and America, as a result of Washington's attempts to contain Chinese expansion in the Pacific and Africa and its anti-Chinese stance - which was exemplified by the recent "Chinese balloon" hysteria.

Between this and Xi Jingping's recent remarks about the US, it's obvious China has recognized the existence of a "second Cold War". How this new conflict will play out, of course, remains to be seen.

🇺🇸🇺🇦⚡️ - The New York Times has reported that the CIA believes a "pro-Ukrainian group" sabotaged Nord Stream.

The CIA have (unsurprisingly) not stated whether that group's HQ is in Langley.

🇷🇸⚡️ - Over 1000 students took part in a protest in Belgrade against the normalization of relations with Kosovo, describing it as a "betrayal".

JUST IN - German newspaper Zeit now claims a "Ukrainian-owned yacht" was used in a "secret operation" to attack the Nord Stream pipelines last year.

The NYT and Die Zeit reported on the new Nord Stream findings four days after Biden met German Chancellor Scholz in DC.

🇬🇪⚡️ - The leader of Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream party has decried color revolutionaries as "Bolsheviks" who hate Orthodox Christianity.

The Eastern Orthodox Church is one of the main opponents of Western liberalism in Georgia; several years ago, its priests and faithful were instrumental in stopping a pro-LGBT ideology rally in Tbilisi.
