🇲🇪⚡️ - In Montenegro's presidential election, Milo Đukanović (the current president) and Jakov Milatović made it into the second round. Andrija Mandić, known for his pro-Serbian and pro-Russian views, was eliminated.

🇲🇪 Jakov Milatović, the candidate who will face Đukanović in the second round, while he is pro-Western in terms of his foreign policy views, is also an informal member of the "anyone-but-Đukanović" bloc which is supported by anyone from Montenegrin liberals to Serbian nationalists.

Therefore, while Milatović is pro-EU and pro-NATO, he is also supportive of ethnic Serb rights and even backed the Serbian Orthodox Church when it was facing religious persecution from Đukanović's former government a few years ago. He also supports closer relations with Serbia, although this is more for economic and cultural ties rather than geopolitical reasons.

His party's leader Milojko Spajić, who was meant to run for the presidency instead of him but was barred due to suspicions of holding Serbian citizenship, is also an ethnic Serb who in the recent past lobbied for the Serbian Orthodox Church.

🇦🇿🇦🇲⚡️ - Azerbaijan has sent a convoy carrying weapons to its border with the pro-Armenian seperatist state of Nagorno-Karabakh, as it claims that border guards from Armenia have attackes Azerbaijani forces.
It seems another Nagorno-Karabakh War could be in the offing.
