Rocket Lab founder and CEO, Sir Peter Beck, says: “Mission success once again for Synspective, capping off our busiest launch year to date. We look forward to continuing to increase our launch cadence in the new year as we strengthen Electron’s position as the leading small rocket globally, and also enter the medium launch market with Neutron’s debut. In 2024 we launched missions for NASA, the NRO, deployed multiple missions for commercial constellation operators like Synspective, launched suborbital HASTE missions advancing hypersonic flight test capability, and to top it all off, we achieved a world first by launching two missions from two different hemispheres in less than 24 hours. Thank you and congratulations to the Rocket Lab team, our customers, and our mission partners for another stellar year.”

Rocket Lab launched 16 missions in 2024, besting the Company’s previous annual launch record of 10 missions, achieved in 2023 and representing a launch cadence increase of 60% year-on-year. Rocket Lab maintained a record of 100% mission success for all launches in 2024. The “Owl The Way” up launch was Rocket Lab’s final scheduled launch for 2024 with the next Electron launch scheduled in Q1 2025.
🚀 16 launches in 2024, a 60% YoY increase.

🚀 4 launches in the past 4 weeks (including 2 in less than 24 hours of each other).

🚀 100% mission success for the year.

We can wait another year, or we can get started now.

Our Mars Sample Return architecture will put Martian samples in the hands of scientists faster and more affordably. Less than $4 billion, with samples returned as early as 2031.

This is not our first encounter with the Red Planet. The orbiters, rovers, landers, and helicopters of Mars all bear Rocket Lab’s fingerprints. We can deliver MSR mission success too.

We’ve hit a big milestone as the prime contractor for Space development agency ranche 2 Transport Layer-Beta (T2TL-Beta) program by successfully passing our Preliminary Design Review.

We're designing, integrating, testing, and commissioning 18 T2TL-Beta satellites for the Department of defence Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. This constellation will form a globally accessible mesh network, providing persistent connectivity for the DoD.

Blue Ghost is successfully operating on orbit! Congratulations Firefly Space. The lander is embarking on its 45-day trip to the Moon. On this trajectory, our MAX Flight Software provides highly configurable Guidance, Navigation & Control that helps maintain a precise lunar transit for the lander – because when the Moon’s your destination, precision is everything.

L-1 week until the next batch of KineisIoT satellites is launched to orbit on Electron.

We're building out their entire constellation of 25 spacecraft across five launches. Three are done, two to go!

Currently targeting lift-off for no earlier than Feb 4th NZT from Launch Complex 1.
🚀 Launch Update 🚀

Electron is ready for lift-off, but the latest COLA report is in and it rules out our single instantaneous launch opportunity for tomorrow’s KineisIoT launch.

We have plenty of backup launch opportunities in the coming days that meet customer requirements, so these five satellites will be in orbit in no time.

🚀🛰️ RKLB TO THE MOON (literally!) We’ve just celebrated the 3rd anniversary of the CAPSTONE mission to the Moon for NASA and AdvancedSpace – launched on our Electron rocket and delivered with our Lunar Photon spacecraft!

This milestone marked Rocket Lab’s debut in designing, building and launching our own interplanetary capable satellite.
