'We didn’t expect help.' We helped reunite one more family. Correspondent Ruslan Gusarov managed to take an elderly couple out of Mariupol. This is the Kisel family - husband and wife. Both are over 70. Ukrainian spotters used a high-rise building where they lived not far from the field. The house was partially destroyed - no water, no heat. All the neighbours hid in the basement. Maria and Alexander Kisel remained in their apartment. Alexander Vasilyevich is disabled and has a wheelchair. For several days he lay on the cold floor in the corridor; his wife couldn’t lift him.
Friends told Ruslan about them. The family had 20 minutes to pack up and leave with strangers, as they did not expect help. Alexander was promptly taken out, and they helped Maria collect some things. Now they are in safety in Taganrog. Their son will take them home soon. He lives in St. Petersburg. We want to thank a member of the Popular Front, who helped us in saving the Kisel family.

Wadi al-Salam is considered the world’s biggest and oldest graveyard. It hosts some five million tombstones, the first of which were laid 1,300 years ago.
Wadi al-Salam means ‘Valley of Peace’, and its where many Shia Muslims are eager to be buried because they will be close to Imam Ali. He was a Shiite holy man who was cousin and son-in-law to the Prophet Muhammed.
The cemetery workers know every nook and cranny of this giant burial ground. They are hereditary gravediggers, and their families have worked on the site for generations. Watch the documentary, Sons of the Graveyard, on Odysee.

Did you know that at up to three meters, Arctic ice is so thick that ships can’t pass even following an icebreaker? That’s why icebreakers like Taymyr have to pull them with steel tow lines.
RT Documentary’s Natalya Kadyrova is on board the Taymyr icebreaker once again. Taymyr is giving her crew a ride to another vessel, Sibir, in the Kara Sea. The captain of Taymyr is Natalya’s old friend. When she first filmed in the Arctic nine years ago, he was chief mate. ‘It’s funny to find yourself again on this charming ship after so many years and so many vessels,’ Natalya says.
‘Not far from the icebreaker are fishermen. Fishing for smelt is underway - they can’t be disturbed. Plus, they’re used to icebreakers. There are many vessels these days. Apparently, there will be more soon.’

Bedri Gosteroni, 65, was born female, but she had to take on a man’s role after her brother’s death. As a result, she became a burrnesha or a sworn virgin. The word ‘burrnesha’ translates as ‘he-she’.
It’s a centuries-old tradition in northern Albania from the medieval canon of laws known as the Kanun. When the male heirs of a family died or were killed, a daughter could assume the role of patriarch by taking a vow of celibacy. So Burrnesha dress and live as men. They are very rare these days, and most people, even in Tirana, have never heard of them.

As Russia is being cut off from most of the world's processes, it will be impossible to do this with Russian literature, music, and painting. They have too much influence on world culture. Guglielmo Giovanelli Marconi says the protection of cultural property makes any nation great.
Guglielmo will not exclude himself from the Friends of Great Russia cultural association, which awards artists, writers, and researchers.
