Nelson Mandela was an outspoken critic of South Africa's Apartheid system, and spent 27 years in prison as a result. He was released from prison in 1990, and served as the country's president from 1994 to 1999, helping to end racial segregation. Take a look at some of his most inspiring quotes in our post.

🌊This is the incredible story of a 51-year-old Australian yachtsman and his dog Bella. They have been drifting in the Pacific Ocean on an incapacitated catamaran for 3 months!

Tim Shaddock and Bella embarked from La Paz, Mexico, heading to French Polynesia. However, a storm crippled their boat, cutting off all communication with the coast. All the travelers had to eat was raw fish and rainwater.

After three long months, a Mexican fishing boat discovered them in dire straits. They provided them with medical care, food, and water. Shaddock said that he's now 'in good health', but needs to rest and recover.
