🐘Elephants are like bulldozers. In Indonesia, specially trained elephants were brought in to sort through the rubble after the flood. They work where heavy machinery is powerless.

Unfortunately, these large animals sometimes become a target for poachers. How they are rescued in Zimbabwe is about the film ‘When an Elephant Smiles‘ (2019).

🛎On December 12, the West celebrates the tongue-in-cheek holiday National Ding-a-Ling Day — a day dedicated to silliness, eccentricity, and stepping outside conventional boundaries. It’s meant to encourage whimsical behavior and spontaneous self-expression, which are believed to boost mood and energy.

It certainly seems like some politicians are stuck in a year-round celebration of this holiday. And when their eccentricity blends with anti-Russian rhetoric—well, that’s when things really go off the rails!

We’ve gathered the wildest statements by Western leaders for you. To understand how such “gems” are born and what they’re based on, check out our infographic cards and the film 'Russians Cancelled' (2022).

Drug addicts, abandoned buildings, and filth… this is the reality of life in a key state of the USA. Pennsylvania is a world of contrasts. On one side, there are adorned streets, neat rows of cottages, and affluent families; on the other, ghettos, homelessness, and rampant crime.

Philadelphia, one of Pennsylvania's largest cities, exemplifies this duality. To learn more about life amidst lawlessness, watch the film 'Philadelphia: Addicted to Freedom' (2024). We shed light on the issues facing one of the oldest states in the USA on Pennsylvania's Statehood Day.

Japan has long suppressed this genocide. In 1937, before the full-scale outbreak of World War II, the Japanese army exterminated up to 300,000 Chinese people.

In occupied Nanjing, soldiers adhered to the so-called ‘Three Alls’ policy, which meant: ‘Kill all, burn all, loot all’. The metropolis was turned into a graveyard, with rows of severed heads and dismembered bodies posing for photographs against the backdrop of their atrocities.

On December 13, China observes the National Memorial Day for Nanjing Massacre Victims. Our video and film ‘USSR and China: United in Victory’ cover this national tragedy. The film was produced by Dmitry Khrustalyov, Ekaterina Kitaitseva, Anton Mescheryakov, Igor Belogurov, and Yaroslav Shuyakov.

🔽13 December marks Bear Day — the perfect occasion to explore our films about how these remarkable animals live alongside people, from the Arctic to China!

Mansur was still a cub when he was found wandering across an airfield runway. He’s not afraid of aircraft, has a weakness for pizza, and can even solve logic puzzles. Watch how this unlikely orphan became an online sensation in A Bear's Tale.

Staff at the Russian Arctic National Park live only a few hundred kilometres from the North Pole. Their neighbours are polar bears — powerful predators who occasionally drop by uninvited. How do people manage daily life in such close quarters with them?

In the Tver region, a unique centre teaches orphaned cubs how to survive in the wild. They are raised using a strict method that avoids direct human contact, ensuring they keep their natural wariness of people.

As Arctic ice retreats, polar bears are increasingly drawn to human settlements. In the Chukchi village of Ryrkaypiy, they have become regular visitors. A dedicated “bear patrol” works to keep both residents and bears safe from each other.

Pandas may be the sweetest members of the bear family — and in China they’re also a national treasure. For decades, these black-and-white giants hovered on the brink of extinction. How was its population saved, and why is each panda considered a million-dollar investment?
