Vivek Ramaswamy Pledges Russia-Ukraine Peace

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has promised to drive a wedge between Moscow and Beijing and end the conflict in Ukraine if elected, simultaneously slamming Biden’s policy.

Ramaswamy insisted Washington and NATO had driven the West closer to global war and “into China’s hands,” adding that his plans would help protect Taiwan by deterring Chinese President Xi Jinping.

He claimed his strategy was a “mirror-image of President Nixon’s diplomatic maneuver that distanced China from Russia in 1972” and attempted to characterize Putin as “the new Mao.”

UK’s Top Diplomat Heads On First Beijing Visit In Attempt To Mend Ties

UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly visited Beijing on Wednesday in the first visit to China in five years by a top UK diplomat in what he called an attempt to “avoid misunderstandings.”

Cleverly said he raised human rights issues in Xinjiang and Hong Kong in meetings with his counterpart Wang Yi, VP Han Zheng, and other officials.

Wang insisted that those matters “are purely China’s internal affairs, and no country should interfere” but conceded that both countries had shared responsibility to pursue world peace and stability.
