As autoridades estão de olho em sites que expõem e comercializam dados de cidadãos brasileiros sem autoridades. A Comissão de Proteção de Dados Pessoais do Ministério Público do Destrito Federal e Territórios (MPDFT) decidiu abrir uma investigação contra o site Tudo Sobre Todos, que se notabilizou por exibir até mesmo o endereço de brasileiros sem permissão.
A página existe pelo menos desde 2015, quando o Olhar Digital relatou o problema pela primeira vez. Outros sites similares apareceram e sumiram de lá para cá, mas o Tudo Sobre Todos permanece no ar, expondo e vendendo dados pessoais.
Segundo a comissão do MPDFT, o serviço é manifestamente ilegal, o que embasou a decisão de procurar os principais buscadores, como Google e Bing, para que não seja mais possível encontrar a página nestes serviços, dificultando o acesso sem o link direto. Da mesma forma, o Mercado Livre foi alertado para realizar suspensão da conta, pela qual os responsáveis pela página comercializavam os dados do público livremente.
De acordo com o MPDFT, bastava pagar R$ 30 por meio do Mercado Livre para obter créditos que permitissem navegar livremente pela página, com acesso aos dados de boa parte dos brasileiros. A página também permite pagamentos com bitcoins.
O MPDFT também menciona que a ação contra um site similar, chamado Consulta Pública, teve bons resultados, com o congelamento do domínio da página.
