«Як сирена стає музикою» — проєкт, створений на основі польових записів сигналу повітряної тривоги в Україні. Через радикальний семплінг, трансформацію та деконструкцію звуку, ця практика виходить за межі звукової документації: сирена не просто фіксується, a балансує між впізнаваністю та абстракцією. Проєкт досліджує, як війна змінює сприйняття звуку, як звукові ландшафти впливають на появу нової музики, і як радикальне перетворення загрозливого сигналу здатне перевідкрити його значення.

«How an air raid siren becomes music» is a project based on field recordings of air raid alarms in Ukraine. The practice moves beyond documentation through radical sampling, transformation, and sonic deconstruction. The siren is not merely captured, it is balancing between recognizability and abstraction. The project explores how war changes our perception of sound, how sound landscapes shape the emergence of new music, and how the radical transformation of a threatening signal can reopen and reframe its meaning.

The provided material is a live performance recorded at «Pastka» in Kyiv on March 8.
