💬 Сегодня, в День дипломатического работника, по традиции отдаём дань памяти нашим предшественникам – сотрудникам Народного комиссариата иностранных дел, коллегам-внешнеторговцам, отдавшим свои жизни на фронтах Великой Отечественной войны, дипломатам, которых настигла смерть при исполнении служебных обязанностей и пострадавшим от политических репрессий.
Во все времена внешнеполитическая служба свято служила Отечеству. Менялись исторические эпохи, политический и социально-экономический уклады. Но дипломаты верой и правдой выполняли стоящие перед ними задачи в интересах российского народа.
🕯 Сегодня церемония в память о наших великих предшественниках проходит не только в Москве, России, но и за границей, где они обрели свой покой.
Хотел бы поблагодарить руководство и сотрудников Историко-документального департамента, которые подготовили важную полезную выставку о тех, чью память мы сегодня чтим.
Особые слова поздравления и благодарности нашим ветеранам. Рады, что они по-прежнему в строю и помогают передавать свой бесценный опыт следующим поколениям, которым придется и уже приходится решать важнейшие задачи для развития нашей страны.

💬 Сегодня мы отмечаем #ДеньДипломатическогоРаботника. Поздравляю всех коллег – где бы вы ни трудились – на Смоленской площади, в территориальных представительствах МИД или многочисленных «загранточках», – с нашим общим праздником!
Дата 10 февраля наполнена для мидовцев глубоким смыслом. Она символизирует преемственность дипломатической службы, демонстрирует стране и миру профессиональную сплочённость и высокие идеалы отечественной дипломатии.
В этом году мы отмечаем свой праздник на фоне развязанной США и их союзниками гибридной войны против нашей страны.
Нет сомнений, что Россия выстоит в нынешний час суровых испытаний и преодолеет их, став еще сильнее. Масштабная русофобская кампания, для которой коллективный Запад долгие годы взращивал нацистский режим в Киеве, напрямую затронула и дипломатов. Многие из наших товарищей сегодня работают в экстремальных условиях, зачастую с риском для здоровья и жизни. Хотел бы особо отметить неустанную работу наших загранучреждений, в том числе их руководства, по продвижению в медийном пространстве стран пребывания правдивой, объективной информации о России, её внутренней и внешней политике.
Мидовский коллектив всегда честно и до конца выполнял свой долг перед Родиной и народом. Так будет и в этот раз. Продолжим делать всё необходимое для защиты национальных интересов и формирования благоприятной внешней среды для устойчивого внутреннего развития России, повышения благосостояния ее граждан. Честь и достоинство Отчизны, всех наших граждан никогда не были и не будут предметом каких-либо компромиссов.

❌ The Kiev regime, supported by the United States and European countries, is completing preparations for a large-scale information provocation (‘grand event’) to accuse the Russian Federation of alleged ‘grave breach’ of the Nuclear Safety Convention in course of the special military operation ahead of the Eleventh Emergency Special Session of the General Assembly on 22 February.
◻️For this purpose, Kiev regime representatives intend to present the international community with ‘hard evidence’ allegedly confirming that there is ‘radioactive contamination of significant areas of Ukraine’ emerged in February–April 2022 as a result of Russian servicemen's actions at the Chernobyl NPP and in the ‘exclusion zone’.
☝️The Kiev regime's large-scale provocation is primarily intended to create negative atmosphere and impose political pressure on those state leaders who oppose Western sanctions against Russia.
📁 On the basis of fabricated ‘interviews’ with Chernobyl NPP personnel, fake ‘evidence’ is being prepared of ‘Russian servicemen looting radioactive materials, chemical solutions, and radiation-contaminated equipment’ and alleged removal by Russian troops of ‘items containing dangerous radionuclides’ outside the ‘exclusion zone’, resulting in ‘irradiation of the population of the temporarily occupied territories’.
📰 Moreover, funding has been allocated to create a dedicated website to disseminate fabricated content in various languages, primarily in South East and South Asia, Central and Latin America, and African states.
❗️ Meanwhile, many IAEA missions to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant (in April, June, November 2022, and January 2023) verified that the background is within normal parameters at the facility and the surrounding areas.

🎙 Comment by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the upcoming release of the feature film Nuremberg
💬 As the liberator of Europe from the Nazi plague our country was one of the originators of the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg. It was held to bring a harsh but fair judgment to the Nazi criminals and also to promote a comprehensive assessment of the tragic lessons of the Second World War and the causes of the misanthropic ideology of Nazism. The Tribunal made an invaluable contribution to the creation of the modern legal framework and to ensuring the inviolability of the global historical foundation of the Great Victory.
❗️ Regrettably, the effectiveness of the vaccine against Nazism created during the international trials has greatly decreased. Nazis and their accomplices have not only been justified but the ideology and practices of the Third Reich have been revived in several European countries, above all Ukraine and the Baltics, on a new, national-state, basis. The bloodthirsty activities of the Ukrainian neo-Nazis in Donbass and the regions controlled by the criminal Kiev regime are the grim evidence of this.
In this context, the first Russian feature film, Nuremberg, is expected to make a major contribution to combating the falsification of history and to demonstrate that crimes against humanity have no statute of limitations.
☝️ Russian diplomacy has always been committed to the firm moral principles and the memory of our forefathers, who fought heroically to protect peace and freedom during the Great Patriotic War. We will continue to do everything in our power to counter any forms of the glorification of Nazism, prevent a revision of the results of the Second World War, and preserve the historical memory of the heroic and tragic pages in the history of Russia and the world.

❗️FACTS OF CRIMINAL OFFENCES BY THE KIEV REGIME
6 – 12 February 2023
▪️The residential areas in five localities – Donetsk, Shirokaya Balka, Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, and Makeevka, in the DPR were caught in fire from the side of the Ukrainian armed forces. A total of 18 fire attacks using MLRS and heavy howitzers were registered, in the course of which the Ukrainian military released 97 units of various munitions. Two civilians were injured.
▪️The Ukrainian military attacked Pervomaisk and Pokrovskoe using American HIMARS MLRS in the LPR. A total of 10 missiles were launched.
▪️The Ukrainian armed forces attacked seven localities in the DPR – Donetsk, Zaytsevo, Mayorsk, Gorlovka, Novobakhmutovka, Ilovaysk, and Amvrosievka, using HIMARS MLRS, 155 and 152 mm howitzers, and mortars and tank guns to launch a total of 188 units of various munitions. Two civilians died. Four persons were injured, of which three kids: a two-year old girl and two teens born in 2008 and 2009.
▪️The Ukrainian military carried out an artillery attack on Pologi town, Zaporozhye Oblast. Multiple-dwelling and private houses were compromised; there were no military facilities in the proximity.
▪️AFU drones attacked an infrastructure facility in the Yakovlevo urban district (Belgorod Oblast), and shelled the settlement of Murom (Shebekino urban district) and the city of Shebekino itself. Three local residents were injured. Buildings of a number of industrial enterprises and private households were damaged. One of the shells hit a bus stop.

❌С сентября 2022 г. Председатель Правительства Российской Федерации ждет ответа от абсолютно независимых, суверенных государств. Наши послы примерно раз в месяц напоминают премьер-министрам этих стран, что к ним обратились. Написали бы хотя бы, что получили обращение, но пока «заняты». Даже этого нет.

"Russia has always been and remains committed to strict compliance with its obligations in combating criminal proceeds. For twenty years as a member of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), we have managed to develop one of the world’s most advanced anti-money laundering regimes.
❗️ The past year turned out to be unprecedented in terms of the politicization of international institutions combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT). Blindly following the directive to inflict a “strategic defeat” on Russia in retaliation for our desire to put an end to multi-year flagrant injustice in Ukraine, there is a wish to settle scores with us on different dialogue platforms."

❗️ Since Ukraine became independent, Ukrainian authorities have committed to fighting against the Russian language. There has been a notable increase in these efforts after the 2014 anti-constitutional coup, that was blatantly anti-Russian and Russophobe in nature.

On 16 February, the European Parliament adopted a resolution “on one year of Russia’s invasion and war of aggression against Ukraine”. Another opus by MEPs is a paragon of disinformation.

🔹 The MEPs pretend to be unaware of the Ukrainian legislative acts that infringe on the rights of national minorities and the Russian-speaking population.
🔹The European Parliament also keeps silent on violations of international humanitarian law by the Ukrainian military.
🔹We do not see any mention in the resolution of strikes by the armed forces of Ukraine against civilians and infrastructure.
❗Obviously, the resolution is aimed at deliberately misleading the European public and trying to justify the EU course to escalate the Ukrainian conflict and increase sanctions pressure on our country.

🔹Renunciation of the #MinskAgreements was a tragedy for Ukraine that happened due to criminal policies of Ukrainian leadership who were instigated by the collective West.
