🗓 Acting in violation of international law and supported by its allies, the United States launched the Iraq invasion on March 20, 2003. This reckless undertaking wiped out Iraq’s statehood and military, throwing its economy and social sector into complete disarray, and plunging the country into many years of internal military and political strife, from which it has yet to recover.

The invasion also resulted in the overthrow and execution of the legitimate President of Iraq Saddam Hussein, the destruction of the country's basic infrastructure, a severe deterioration of the health system, and rise in crime.

❗️ It is worth mentioning that weapons of mass destruction have never been found in Iraq. Leaders of the countries which invaded Iraq justified their criminal actions by citing faulty intelligence.

According to various estimates compiled by the academic community and NGOs, from 100,000 to 205,000 civilians met a violent death, and the invasion indirectly caused about 650,000 civilian casualties (independent reports & surveys give a wide range of estimates up to 1,2 mln casualties). The number of Iraqi refugees reached 1.5 million, and there were 2 million internally displaced persons. Today, over 12 million Iraqis, or about 30 percent of the country’s population, live below the poverty line.

A substantial body of evidence has been collected on the war crimes committed in Iraq by the US Army and its allies, but despite that most of the perpetrators have yet to be held accountable.

❌ Most episodes have not even been investigated, while criminal charges have been rare.

☝️ The reckless military undertaking led by the United States prompted the emergence of new threats to regional security and stability, creating a hospitable environment for spreading terrorist and extremist ideas, which in turn exposed the whole world to atrocities committed by ISIS.

⚡️ Comment by Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Denmark’s refusal to conduct an investigation into the sabotage attacks on the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines

We noticed Denmark’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen’s statement containing a refusal to allow Russia’s participation in investigating the sabotage attacks on Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2.

🇩🇰 It is common knowledge that Denmark deliberately dragged its feet for two and a half years on issuing permission for Nord Stream 2 AG to build the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in its exclusive economic zone. It is a highly indicative attitude. Already at that time, Copenhagen clearly followed instructions from its overseas patrons.

This time, the Danish foreign minister called things by their proper names. Copenhagen, as a zealous defender of US interests in Europe, was not interested from the start in an investigation that could shed light on those who actually ordered and carried out the terrorist attacks in question. Denmark’s muffled reaction to having been informed about Nord Stream 2 AG discovering an object near a welded seam as it surveyed the pipeline in February 2023 is yet another confirmation of this fact.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly commented on the Danish authorities’ actions with regard to the Nord Stream pipelines. We emphasise that as of today, the Danish authorities have not bothered to give anything like an intelligible reply to a any of the numerous Russian requests or provide a single result of their investigation, this despite the fact that it is Russia as the owner of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines that is the aggrieved party.

Neither has Copenhagen deemed it necessary to reply in any way to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s October 2022 official letter to Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen with a proposal to let representatives of Russia’s competent federal executive agencies and Gazprom join the investigation.

❗️ Despite the Danish refusal to hold a joint investigation into these sabotage attacks, the Russian Foreign Ministry will continue to insist that Copenhagen provide answers to the questions that were asked earlier. It will not be able to sweep this issue under the carpet.

☝️ We proceed from the premise that it is only a comprehensive and open international investigation with the mandatory participation of Russian representatives that can provide the public with reliable and objective data on the reasons, perpetrators, and instigators of the sabotage attacks.

🔸 На днях с помпой был представлен новый Фонд поддержки Украины: из 7 млрд датских крон лишь малую часть - 1,6 млрд – в том или ином виде планируется направить на восстановление Украины. Остальные 5,4 млрд пойдут на новые поставки вооружений и техники.

❌ Это оружие активно используется вооруженными силами Украины для обстрелов, в т.ч. гражданской инфраструктуры, и приводит к гибели мирных жителей, включая детей. Оружие, которое перепродается на черном рынке и попадает в руки террористов, экстремистских и криминальных группировок.

Danmark fortsætter med at bidrage i eskalering i Ukraine ved at øge militærhjælpen til Kiev-regimet og træne hundredvis af ukrainske tropper på dansk jord.

🔸 For nylig blev en ny Ukraine-støttefond præsenteret med pragt: ud af 7 milliarder danske kroner er det kun en mindre del (1,6 mia), der planlægges rettet i den ene eller anden form til genopretning af Ukraine. De resterende 5,4 milliarder skal gå til nye leverancer af våben og udstyr.

❌ Dette våben bruges aktivt af Ukraines væbnede styrker til beskydning, inkl. civil infrastruktur og fører til civile, herunder børns død. Det er våben, der sælges videre på det sorte marked og falder i hænderne på terrorister, ekstremistiske og kriminelle grupper.

▪️ Большая часть эвакуированных детей прибыла в Российскую Федерацию в составе семей, в сопровождении своих родителей, опекунов и попечителей. Они были устроены в пунктах временного размещения, нашли приют у родственников, либо, при наличии возможности, арендовали жильё.

❗️ Усыновление российскими гражданами детей из ЛНР и ДНР никогда не рассматривалось в качестве приоритетной формы их устройства и на практике, по данным Уполномоченного при Президенте Российской Федерации по правам ребенка М.А.Львовой-Беловой, не осуществлялось.

☝️ На настоящее время в семьи российских граждан под опеку передано 380 детей (288 и 92 ребенка из ДНР и ЛНР соответственно). О каких «тысячах» детей рассуждают в западных СМИ, неясно.

❗️ Звучащие в адрес Российской Федерации обвинения в «аннексии» детей лишены оснований и являются лишь домыслами, демонстрирующими недостаточную информированность представителей западного истеблишмента и средств массовой информации.

🗓 On March 24, 1999, the North Atlantic bloc started bombing Yugoslavia in gross violation of the fundamental principles of international law enshrined in the UN Charter.

The US and its allies bombed Yugoslavian cities, including Belgrade, villages and civilian infrastructure for 78 days, blowing up bridges, passenger trains and buses and killing women, children and elderly people. By doing that, the West destroyed the post-WWII foundations of European security and started replacing the legitimate mechanisms that regulated international relations with a “rules-based order”.

The use of depleted uranium ammunition contaminated vast areas and caused an unprecedented rise in cancer-related diseases, which has affected many people, including the Kosovo Force (KFOR) personnel deployed there after the war by decision of the UN Security Council. Over 200,000 non-Albanian residents of Kosovo, who had to flee from their homes, have not yet returned there.

Using the aggression as a pretext, members of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army committed heinous crimes, including the kidnapping and murder of Serbs for body parts. Many of these criminals are still at large.

❗️ No NATO representative has been called to account. The victims of the aggression were written off as “collateral damage,” which means that they were the civilian casualties of the operations conducted by the United States, Britain and their satellites to attain their geopolitical ambitions.

The US military reluctantly apologised only after several especially horrible murders of civilians had become public knowledge. The question of the NATO allies’ responsibility for the damage they have done to international relations and Yugoslavia remains open.

☝️ The military operation NATO waged against sovereign Yugoslavia more than 20 years ago is a tragedy with lasting and multifaceted consequences.

💬 We live at a time of historic geopolitical shifts. The emerging multipolarity constitutes a key trend in international affairs. New centres of power in Eurasia, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America have achieved impressive results in various areas.

🔹 On the contrary, the US-led so-called collective West is doing everything to revive the unipolar model, which has run its course. They want to force the world to live in a Western-centric rules-based order that they invented themselves.

🔹 NATO’s aggressive eastward expansion became an integral part of this selfish policy, carried out despite the political promises that were given to the Soviet leadership not to expand NATO.

🔹 The US and NATO countries have always viewed Ukraine as one of the tools they could use against Russia. To complete the transformation of our neighbouring state into an anti-Russia, the Western spin doctors engineered and then supported an anti-constitutional government coup in Kiev back in February 2014.

☝️ We have drawn the necessary conclusions from this. There will be no “business as usual” again. We will not knock on the closed door, let alone make unilateral concessions.

🔹 If the West decides to abandon its Russophobic line and opt for equal cooperation with Russia, this will above all benefit them.

❗️ The attempts to isolate Russia, build a fence around it and turn it into an outcast have failed.

🌐 The focus of the global economy continues to shift from the Euro-Atlantic region to Eurasia, and politics is following suit. Even the European Union can no longer claim political, economic or value leadership across Eurasia.

🤝 Russia will continue to promote a unifying agenda in the international arena, contribute to strengthening global security and stability, political and diplomatic settlement of numerous crises and conflicts.

Vladimir Putin gave an interview to journalist Pavel Zarubin of the Rossiya 1 TV channel. Main points:

🔸Moscow and Minsk agreed to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus without violating international obligations. On July 1, the construction of a storage facility for them will be completed there.

🔸Russia has something in response to the depleted uranium shells; it has hundreds of thousands of such munitions, but it is not using them yet.

🔸The West supplies weapons to Ukraine covertly, but the Russian military is trying to destroy them in the process of delivery; of course there is such a goal.

🔸The President of China also paid a lot of attention to revealing the positive inception of the Chinese plan for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine.

🔸Russia and China are developing cooperation, including in the field of military-technical cooperation, but they are not creating a military alliance and do not threaten any countries.

🔸The growing dependence of Russia on China is not discussed by sceptics, but by envious people. “For example, the dependence of the European economy on China is growing at a much faster pace than Russia's. It is different, so they should rather think of themselves,” the President noted.

🔸The US is hurting itself by limiting the use of the dollar for politically biased reasons. Russia will expand the use of the currencies it considers reliable.

🔸The trip to Mariupol, which Vladimir Putin took last week, was long overdue. It was necessary to use the example of this city to see how the restoration has been proceeding.

On 21 March 2023, UK Minister of State for Defence Annabel Goldie announced that Britain would be providing armour piercing rounds which contain depleted uranium to Ukraine.

☣️ It should be noted that in armed conflicts, the depleted uranium ammunition was used exclusively by NATO countries. In 2003–2004, the US used such ammo in strikes on Iraqi cities. In total, the United Nations estimates that the US used at least 300 tonnes of depleted uranium in Iraq. As a result, the radiological conditions in Fallujah were far worse than those in Hiroshima and Nagasaki after the U.S. bombing.

According to the Iraqi government, in 2005 the cancer incidence in the country because of the use of depleted uranium rose from 40 to 1,600 cases per 100,000 people. There has also been a 25% increase in cancer incidence in the countries of the former Yugoslavia.

📄 The Summary Report of the U.S. Army Environmental Policy Institute to Congress in 1994, ennoscriptd Health and Environmental Consequences of Depleted Uranium Use by the U.S. Army, states: ‘No technology exists for reducing the toxicity of depleted uranium… The cleanup of depleted uranium ammunition areas is extremely difficult’.

❗️ After the use of depleted uranium shells, large areas of crops on Ukrainian territory will be contaminated, and radioactive substances will be spread through vehicles to the rest of the territory. This would cause enormous economic damage to Ukraine’s agro-industrial complex, bringing down any export of agricultural products from Ukraine.

Это нанесёт колоссальный экономический ущерб агропромышленному комплексу Украины, обрушив любой экспорт сельскохозяйственной продукции с её территории.

💬На глазах у всего мира США и их союзники сделали всё, чтобы избежать запуска объективного международного расследования в связи с подрывом «Северного потока» в сентябре прошлого года.

Сначала в Вашингтоне публично на самом высоком уровне угрожали взорвать этот газопровод, затем глумились и выражали радость по поводу того, что он взорван. При этом СМИ вбрасывалось огромное количество спекуляций и, мягко говоря, противоречивых и абсурдных версий о том, кто мог это сделать.

💬 I am afraid that after this vote the suspicion, who stands behind the sabotage at the Nord Stream, will but increase.

🌐In plain view of the entire world, the United States and its allies did their best to preclude an objective international investigation regarding the blasts at the Nord Stream pipeline in September last year. First Washington make public threats at the highest level that they would blow up the pipe, then they scoffingly rejoiced at the news about the sabotage. In the meantime, mass media generated lots of speculations and very controversial and absurd (to say the least) versions who might have done it.

All calls by Russia as an affected side to join the national investigations in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden, were turned down. All our written requests only received formal replies, this you had an opportunity to see with your own eyes.

❗️ When we raised the issue of an objective international investigation, the tactic of our American and European colleagues narrowed down to denying the involvement of the United States on the one hand and preventing a transparent and impartial inquiry into the circumstances of the sabotage on the other. The more evidence testifying to the involvement of Washington and its NATO allies came to surface, the more vocal the Western bloc was getting about alleged inexpediency of an international investigation.

Today’s vote confirmed with all certainty that our former Western partners believe they can get away with anything. Also, today we saw a nasty manifestation of Western “silent conspiracy” in the Security Council, which prevents this body from fulfilling its duties.

☝️ Of course, we will draw our conclusions. We are convinced that more detailed facts are yet to be discovered, and that everyone who is complicit in the sabotage of the Nord Stream will be identified, as well as all details of this crime. This is inevitable.

The decision to evict the monks of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, approved by Ukraine’s political leadership, is the peak of Kiev’s years-long anti-church policy.

These actions violate at least a dozen universally recognised international legal documents on the freedom of belief.

#ICC

The ICC discredited itself long ago. It carries out political orders of its sponsors. It is also clear who these sponsors are. They are the Western countries. This has nothing to do with justice.

Russia does not cooperate with the International Criminal Court, nor will it ever do so, despite calls we are hearing from them.

#DepletedUranium

The UK decision to supply Ukraine with depleted uranium munitions, show that neither Kiev nor its Western handlers are interested in resolving the conflict.

They do not care what their scorched-earth tactics are doing to Ukraine. They’re now turning it into a source of radiation pollution.

‼️ В результате противодействия западных стран, в том числе Дании, 27 марта резолюция Совета Безопасности ООН о проведении под эгидой Генерального секретаря ООН международного независимого расследования диверсий против газопровода «Северный поток-1» и «Северный поток-2» не была принята.

🔸 Основной аргумент западных стран – якобы преждевременность такой резолюции до завершения проводимых национальных расследований. Однако резолюция СБ ООН никоим образом не создавала препятствий для продолжения проведения национальных расследований. Вместе с тем стойкое нежелание Дании, Германии и Швеции делиться какой-либо информацией с российской стороной и противодействие запуску международного независимого расследования вызывает резонные сомнения в добросовестности предпринимаемых на национальных уровнях следственных действиях.

❌ Стараниями западных стран создан опасный прецедент. Вместо консолидации международных усилий в борьбе с терроризмом и преступностью взят курс на их фрагментацию по национальному признаку, что обесценивает соответствующие международно-правовые документы и политические договоренности.

❗️ Россия с опорой на международное право и имеющиеся дипломатические механизмы продолжит добиваться всестороннего, прозрачного и беспристрастного расследования всех аспектов диверсий на газопроводах, включая установление виновных, их спонсоров, организаторов и соучастников.

‼️ Som følge af modstand fra vestlige lande, herunder Danmark, den 27. marts blev FN's Sikkerhedsråds resolution om at gennemføre en international uafhængig undersøgelse af sabotage mod Nord Stream 1 og Nord Stream 2 gasrørledningerne i regi af FN's generalsekretær ikke vedtaget.

🔸 De vestlige landes hovedargument er det er påståede for tidligt at vedtage en sådan resolution før de ​​igangværende nationale undersøgelser afsluttet. FN's Sikkerhedsråds resolution skabte dog på ingen måde hindringer for fortsættelsen af ​​nationale undersøgelser. Samtidig rejser Danmarks, Tysklands og Sveriges vedvarende manglende vilje til at dele enhver information med den russiske side og modstand mod iværksættelsen af ​​en international uafhængig undersøgelse rimelig tvivl om troværdighed af ​​de efterforskningsforanstaltninger, der udføres på nationalt plan.

❌ På grund af de vestlige landes indsats er der skabt en farlig præcedens. ❗️ О систематической борьбе киевского режима с Украинской Православной Церковью

Официальный Киев в течение долгого времени ведет систематическую борьбу с Украинской Православной Церковью, традиционно относящейся к Московскому Патриархату.

❗️ Очередной мишенью кампании официального Киева против УПЦ стала Киево-Печерская лавра – один из старейших монастырей Руси, где хранятся мощи многих православных святых. Теперь же власти Украины намерены выселить монашескую братию Киево-Печерской лавры из монастыря: священнослужителям предписано покинуть территорию монастыря до 29 марта. Святыни, имеющие колоссальное значение для православных христиан всего мира, предписано оставить в Лавре.

❌ Действия украинских властей представляют собой грубейшее нарушение прав и дискриминацию православных христиан на Украине, что противоречит ряду общепризнанных международно-правовых документов - Уставу ООН, Всеобщей декларации прав человека, Декларации о ликвидации всех форм нетерпимости и дискриминации на основе религии или убеждений и другим.

❗️ Om Kievs systematisk kampagne mod den ukrainske ortodokse kirke

I lang tid har det officielle Kiev systematisk bekæmpet den ukrainske ortodokse kirke (UOK), som traditionelt tilhører Moskva-patriarkatet.

❗️ Petjerskaklostret, et af de ældste klostre i Rus, hvor relikvier fra mange ortodokse helgener opbevares, blev endnu et mål for den officielle Kiev-kampagne mod UOK. Nu har de ukrainske myndigheder til hensigt at fordrive det monastiske broderskab fra klostret: gejstligheden er beordret til at forlade klostrets område indtil den 29. marts. Helligdomme, der er af enorm betydning for ortodokse kristne rundt om i verden, bliver beordret til at efterlades.

❌ De ukrainske myndigheders handlinger udgør en grov krænkelse af ortodokse kristnes rettigheder og diskrimination i Ukraine, hvilket er i modstrid med en række almindeligt anerkendte internationale juridiske dokumenter.

🤝 Итальянская благотворительная организация "Помогите нам спасти детей" передаст первое медицинское оборудование в родильное отделение больницы в Мариуполе на сумму более €46 тыс. Об этом 26 марта корреспонденту российского информагентства ТАСС сообщил ее глава Эннио Бордато, напомнив, что всего несколько месяцев назад была запущена программа "Поможем возродить Мариуполь".

🔹На собранные средства планируется приобрести кроватки
для новорожденных, а также медицинские материалы и педиатрические инструменты.

▪️ Напомним, что в марте прошлого года родильное отделение больницы в Мариуполе было разрушено боевиками националистического батальона "Азов".

🤝 Den italienske velgørende organisation "Hjælp os med at redde børnene" (Aiutateci a Salvare i Bambini Onlus) vil donere det første medicinske udstyr til fødeafdelingen på et hospital i Mariupol til en værdi af mere end 46.000 €. Dens leder Ennio Bordato fortalte det russiske nyhedsbureau TASS den 26. marts. For blot et par måneder side blev der nemlig lanceret et programm "Lad os hjælpe med at genoplive Mariupol."

🔹 Indsamlede midler vil blive brugt til at købe senge til nyfødte såvel som medicinske forsyninger og pædiatriske instrumenter.

▪️ I marts sidste år blev fødeafdelingen på hospitalet i Mariupol ødelagt af militante fra den ukrainske nationalistiske bataljon "Azov".

❗️ Medlemmer af BRICS og Shanghai Cooperation Organisation er stadig interesserede i fælles arbejde i den arktiske region. Det sagde Nikolay Korchunov, Arktis Ambassadør for Udenrigsministeriet i Den Russiske Føderation.

🤝Korchunov, der talte ved den videnskabelige og praktiske konference om klimaændringer og optøning af permafrost, bemærkede den støt stigende interesse fra flere og flere stater for samarbejde om undersøgelse og udvikling af den arktiske region. Dette er relevant for de centralasiatiske lande og for medlemmer af forskellige mellemstatslige grupperinger (BRICS og andre).
