▪️ While encouraging their Kiev puppets to commit even more savage crimes, the NATO countries continue to flood the country with deadly weapons. In addition to the ongoing arms supplies, there have been never-ending discussions lately in a number of European countries about the possibility of sending fighter jets to Kiev. We strongly condemn such actions, as they are aimed at escalating the conflict further. For us, it makes no difference if they send the F-16 or any other planes. All this means is that the West is getting increasingly drawn into the Ukraine conflict. Their words that they are not in a “direct confrontation” with our country have lost their meaning.

#Sanctions

▪️ According to a source the West definitely views as reliable – The Financial Times – since the beginning of the special military operation, which coincided with the sanctions from hell as Joe Biden called them, major European companies have lost at least 100 billion euros. Oil and gas companies, financial institutions and banks, as well as manufacturers piled up the biggest losses.

I forbindelse med de danske myndigheders hidtil usete beslutning om at reducere antallet af russiske diplomatarbejdere i Danmark, vil den konsulære afdeling af Den Russiske Føderations Ambassade i Danmark blive tvunget til at indstille sine aktiviteter.

The situation in Kosovo should be resolved on the basis of Security Council resolution 1244.

❗️ The arrangement between Belgrade and Pristina will only be viable if the parties come to an agreement independently, without ready-made solutions imposed on them from outside.

☝️ We oppose the idea of altering the mandate of the UN Mission in the region and cutting its budget, and advocate for maintaining the open and regular nature of UN SC meetings on the Kosovo issue.

⚡️ Foreign Ministry statement on the grain deal

Concluded in Istanbul on July 22, 2022, the Black Sea Initiative to export Ukrainian food products (suspended on July 17) has been receiving a lot of attention. Against this backdrop, the Foreign Ministry considers that it must once again set forth Russia’s position in this regard, in detail.

👉 The global price of grain is steadily declining, having decreased in the range of 4 to 5 percent in August to reach levels 25 to 40 percent below its peak in March 2022, contradicting the alarmist statements by the West and the UN Secretariat on surging food prices and the imminent threat of hunger.

Overall, there is no global food shortage in physical terms, while there are challenges in terms of distributing, not producing, food.

👉 Ukraine’s role as the world’s breadbasket has also been blown out of proportion, once again at the initiative of the West and the United Nations. In fact, this country accounts for a relatively small portion of global wheat exports at about 5 percent, and this share has become even smaller recently due to objective factors, considering, among other things, the decrease in the planted acreage as a result of soil contamination by radioactive and chemical toxins following the use of depleted uranium munitions supplied by the West.

☝️If the West and Kiev really need the Black Sea corridor, it is high time for them to take concrete steps to lift the illegal unilateral sanctions imposed on Russian entities which are involved in producing and exporting agricultural products and fertilisers.

❗️Russia reaffirms its position of principle as set forth by President Vladimir Putin on September 4. We stand ready to explore opportunities for reviving the Black Sea Initiative. However, this can happen only once all the requirements are met to lift sanctions imposed on the Russian companies dealing with agricultural products and fertilisers.

💬 September 8, 1943, marks a landmark date in the history of our country. Eighty years ago today, the legendary unconquered Donbass – Russia’s centuries-old stronghold, a land of hard workers and warriors, a rich and generous land – was liberated and cleansed from Nazi occupiers.

Its resources held enormous value for the enemy. Seizing them was one of the goals behind Germany's attack on the Soviet Union, and the Nazis did everything to keep the Donbass steppe to themselves and to force the people to work for the war machine of the Third Reich.

However, they ran into fierce resistance in the occupied territories, the intensity of which did not wane for nearly 700 days. During that time, while the cruel and cynical beast ruled over Donbass, hundreds of thousands of partisans, underground fighters, civilians, and children were subjected to torture and execution, and unassailable enemy fortifications grew on the key fronts.

The banks of the Seversky Donets River were dotted with bunkers and dugouts, and many kilometres of minefields. Breaking through that defence line appeared impossible, but the Red Army soldiers accomplished this task, performed feats beyond human capabilities, and travelled a heroic and sacrificial path, thus solidifying the triumph of Soviet troops at the Kursk Bulge.

The arduous and selfless assault of Saur Mogila is a special chapter.

This strategic height changed hands several times and surrendered to the Soviet soldier, who stood to the death for the truth, justice, freedom, and the future of our Motherland.

☝️ I am confident that nine years ago, on these frontlines that are sacred for us, Donbass militia members, descendants of the Great Patriotic War soldiers followed their example.

That is what Russia is: a nation united by its history, unbreakable through its spiritual traditions, and loyal to the legacy and memory of its ancestors.

💬 On Western hypocrisy

President of the European Council Charles Michel went on record as saying that “Over 250 million people face acute food insecurity worldwide, and by deliberately attacking Ukraine’s seaports, the Kremlin is depriving them of the food they desperately need.”

First, when the EU countries participated in attacks on Syria, Libya, and Yugoslavia, they didn’t spare a thought for starving people in Africa. Nor were they concerned that the colour revolutions and regime change they engineered would cause the suffering of millions of people, who died or were forced to wander the world not knowing which way to turn. They never paid damages to anyone, let alone apologised.

Second, nothing prevents the EU from discontinuing their purchases of cheap grain (or rather from gobbling it up with their greedy mouths), while ruining their own farmers in the process. You bought Ukrainian grain – now send it to the starving people. Better yet, send it free of charge and pay the transportation costs, as Russia does.

Third, I forgot, when did Michel urge his underlings to release Russian fertiliser impounded in the seaports of Latvia, Estonia, Belgium and the Netherlands? Fertiliser, after all, is vital for producing food in the countries that need it. Oh, excuse my forgetfulness. There were no statements of this sort at all.

Fourth, will the EC head calculate the damage done to the world by the illegitimate Western sanctions against Russia? Or is he so busy spreading misinformation that he has forgotten how to add real figures?

Fifth, we have provided facts and figures on the food security situation after the grain deal was discontinued. We also have demonstrated how Russia is addressing the problem of hunger in the world, while the EU provides for its own needs and profits.

But the main evidence that the EU freak show never stops performing came on the same day from High Representative Borrel, who said: “We very much regret the [Georgian] government’s decision to allow the resumption of flights with Russia.” Everyone should comply with the EU policy of sanctions against Russia, he added. Is this how Brussels is thinking about people in need of food, transport, and legal protection? If the EU bureaucrats were really concerned about people’s interests, they would be happy with an improvement in the transport situation. But no, the EU bogeys are opposed again.

All the West thinks about is how to make a killing from the war it has unleashed against Russia and extend its self-aggrandisement.

Датские власти беспардонно нарушили свои обязательства по обеспечению беспрепятственного доступа на мероприятия в Дании официальных представителей стран-участниц ВОЗ, в том числе России, учитывая, что Европейское региональное бюро ВОЗ расположено в Копенгагене.

Et regionalt møde i Verdenssundhedsorganisationen (WHO) finder sted i København den 12.-14. september. Oleg Salagai, statssekretær og vice-sundhedsminister, skulle have deltaget i dette arrangement. Men han blev nægtet indrejse i Danmark i Kastrup lufthavn. De danske myndigheder overtrådte på det groveste deres forpligtelse til at sikre uhindret adgang til arrangementer i Danmark for officielle repræsentanter for WHO's medlemslande, herunder Rusland, eftersom WHO's regionalkontor for Europa ligger jo i København.

👶 We advocate strengthening international cooperation in the promotion and protection of the rights of the child, taking into account the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the outcome document of the 27th special session of the UNGA ennoscriptd "A World Fit for Children", which proclaimed, in particular, the need for a family environment for the full and harmonious development of a child's personality.

❗️ We note the importance of the right of parents and/or legal guardians to provide, in a manner consistent with the evolving capacities of the child, appropriate direction and guidance in the exercise by the child of his/her rights.

We pay close attention to the problem of children in armed conflict, including within the framework of the UNSC.

We strongly condemn the UN Secretary-General's biased decision to include the Russian Armed Forces in the list of parties responsible for violations against children in Ukraine in his relevant annual report for 2022.

We believe that the list of violators should include the Ukrainian armed forces, which have committed numerous crimes against minors.

📃 We support the mandate of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict and look forward to further cooperation with her. 📃 Russia has initiated the development of important multilateral arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation arrangements, including on the prevention of an arms race in outer space (PAROS) and on the suppression of acts of chemical and biological terrorism.

We believe that a constructive dialogue on these issues will provide an opportunity to engage in substantive work (including negotiations) at the UN. In promoting these initiatives, we rigorously adhere to the principles of equality and consensus ensuring a balance of interests.

At the 78th session of the General Assembly, we will traditionally submit to the First Committee draft resolutions concerning no first placement of weapons in outer space (NFP), transparency and confidence-building measures in space activities, and further practical steps on PAROS.

Globalization of the NFP initiative is a significant but only interim step towards the conclusion of an international treaty on the prevention of the placement of weapons in outer space on the basis of the Chinese-Russian draft treaty on prevention of the placement of weapons in outer space and of the threat or use of force against outer space objects.

#Ukraine

On September 10, a milestone event took place in the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation, namely, the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The first elections to local government under Russian law were held.

Kiev once again made desperate attempts to thwart people that it treats as outsiders from expressing their will. On the night of September 10 the Ukrainian forces used a drone to attack a polling station and completely destroyed it.

Were Ukrainian neo-Nazis the only ones to threaten the electoral cycle participants? Let me remind you that they were joined by the official capitals of Western countries that issued threats to election observers.

The global majority countries are openly expressing their discontent with the fact that the collective West has usurped the right to determine “the only right” version of democracy and its values, according to the West, which has also claimed the prerogative to determine the standards of democracy in different states, communities and nations.

One example of this neocolonial approach is the Summit for Democracy devised in Washington. This strange platform is actually a get-together of the United States’ satellites where loyalty is the main criterion. The main goal of events such as the Summit for Democracy is to divide the international community into us and them while rallying supporters in the struggle for maintaining America’s geopolitical positions.

📃 We are convinced that sport is a unique tool for developing and strengthening social ties, building mutually respectful communication, and should bring closer together and unite peoples.

We are unwaveringly committed to the development of equal international sports cooperation that fully complies with the spirit and principles of Olympism, which precludes politicization and biased approach.

We find it unacceptable when certain Western countries use sport for their self-serving purposes. Persistent attempts to politicize sports cooperation, put pressure on the relevant multilateral organizations, including the International Olympic Committee, and cause division in the international Olympic movement are at odds with the Olympic goals and ideals.

🏆 We insist on holding fair and just competitions, and ensuring that all countries without exception have equal access to full participation in the Olympic and Paralympic movements.
