⚡️ Foreign Ministry statement on Canadian Parliament honouring a Waffen SS Division (1st Galician) member
The public honouring of 98-year-old Bandera supporter Yaroslav Hunka, a member of the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Galician), at the Canadian Parliament during Vladimir Zelensky’s visit, is the best possible way to characterise the regime of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has embraced unbridled Russophobia. It was the most cynical abuse of the memory of Nazism victims.
☝️ As much as certain members of the Canadian Parliament try to apologise retrospectively after receiving a storm of indignation from the Jewish community and even from Ottawa’s ally, Poland, the fact remains that the ultra-liberal ideology propagated in Canada and permeated with hatred for Russia, its culture, religious and traditional values, essentially has the same roots as Nazism. It is no coincidence that there are monuments to the leaders of Ukrainian nationalism in the country and the overwhelming majority of the Nazis who received asylum like Yaroslav Hunka are living out their days in safety, honoured and cared for (in particular, by Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland) as “fighters against Russian Communism.”
❗️ The hostile actions of the Canadian government, which has been trying to surpass the United States in its anti-Russia sanction rage by constantly extending the Russian stop list with more names of politicians, cultural figures and their family members, as well as entire education institutions, will certainly not be left without a response. We will not tolerate the fact that Canadian liberals are playing with Nazism and will take the necessary steps in the context of the Russia-Canada relations that are going through a crisis on an epochal scale through the official Ottawa’s fault.
We expect that healthy forces in Canadian society will speak out against the Nazification of history and daily life encouraged by the country’s officials, along with aggressive Russophobia.

🔹It has been a year since the sabotage in the Baltic Sea and almost as much since the Security Council convened on this issue for the first time. During that time, we have heard numerous assertions that national investigations by Germany, Denmark, and Sweden would allow to identify the perpetrators very soon. However, there have been no results so far despite the seven UNSC meeting in both open and closed formats.
🔹More and more evidence is emerging in the expert community that it is Washington who stood behind the disruption of the Nord Stream pipeline and went ahead with this outrageous criminal act guided by a narrowly self-interested desire to consolidate its dominance in Europe, which is in dire need of Russian energy.
🔹In November, General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation submitted requests to competent German, Danish, and Swedish authorities to provide legal aid and establish joint investigative taskforce. We received but formal replies.
🔹Some Western delegations on the Council, unable to cope with their emotions, directly pointed out at our meetings that the disruption of Nord Stream had been a response to Russia's actions in Ukraine. Such candid confessions would have allowed even a novice investigator to conclude this case without much trouble. But since Germany, Denmark and Sweden have been ordered to fence off the complicity of their overseas "big brother", their investigators have their hands tied and eyes closed.
🔹Our country will continue to seek an objective and thorough establishment of all the circumstances of the incident, with the obligatory involvement of Russian investigative bodies and interested parties, as well as bringing to justice all those who ordered and perpetrated the sabotage. To that end, we will use all means available, including in the Security Council.

❗️Впервые за историю отношений между нашими странами в Дании не будет Торгового представителя Российской Федерации. С датской стороны нанесен очередной осознанный удар по российско-датским отношениям🇷🇺🇩🇰 с целью их дальнейшего разрушения.
С 29 сентября Торговое представительство Российской Федерации в Королевстве Дания из-за решения датских властей об ограничении численности российского дипломатического присутствия вынуждено приостановить свою деятельность.

Fra den 29. september er Den Russiske Føderations handelsrepræsentation i Kongeriget Danmark tvunget til at indstille sine aktiviteter på grund af de danske myndigheders beslutning om at begrænse antallet af russiske diplomater.
❗️For første gang i historien om forholdet mellem vores lande vil der ikke være nogen handelsrepræsentant for Den Russiske Føderation i Danmark. Fra dansk side er der blevet slået endnu et bevidst slag mod de russisk-danske relationer 🇷🇺🇩🇰 med henblik på at ødelægge dem yderligere.
Fra den 29. september er Den Russiske Føderations handelsrepræsentation i Kongeriget Danmark tvunget til at indstille sine aktiviteter på grund af de danske myndigheders beslutning om at begrænse antallet af russiske diplomater.

🕯 On September 29 and 30, 1941, Nazi troops and their accomplices massacred nearly entire Jewish population of Kiev by shooting them at Baby Yar, a ravine in the northwestern part of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic’s occupied capital.
On this tragic day, Jews were ordered to gather at a specific location and were then taken to the side of the ravine.
Over these two days, the Nazis killed 33,771 people, most of them women, children and the elderly. The executioners forced them into the ravine and used machine guns to shoot them dead. They played music and had an airplane circle the sky nearby to cover the noise from the shooting.
💬 Mikhail Sidko was six years old when the Baby Yar massacre took place. Here is what he recalled: “Many lost their bearings right there when it dawned on them what was about to happen. They screamed as bullets came flying at them, and were then dragged by their feet into the Yar.”
Mass executions continued until the Red Army liberated the city, taking the lives of over 120,000 people of various ethnic backgrounds, but most of them Jews, Roma, Poles, as well as Soviet POWs and concentration camp inmates.
To hide the traces of their crimes, the Nazis dug out and burned tens of thousands of corpses before retreating from Kiev. The few survivors of these mass killings would later go on to testify at the Nuremberg Trials to expose Nazi crimes.
Known for their extraordinary cruelty towards civilians, the Ukrainian nationalists serving in the Auxiliary Police took an active part in this bloody mass murder.
The Baby Yar massacre of civilians will forever remain as one of the most horrific pages not only in the history of the Great Patriotic War, but of World War II in general.
❗️ This horrendous atrocity serves as a reminder that all manifestations of neo-Nazism are unacceptable.

Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to fulfil its tasks on territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
▫️ In order to resume the work of the bakery in Stepanakert and to produce bakery products for the peaceful inhabitants of nearby settlements, servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent delivered more than 15.5 tonnes of flour to the enterprise.
▫️ Unmanned aerial vehicle systems of the Russian peacekeeping contingent continue to monitor the current situation. No violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded over the past 24 hours.
The Russian peacekeeping contingent maintains continuous cooperation with Baku and Stepanakert aimed at preventing bloodshed, ensuring security and observing the norms of humanitarian law with regard to the peaceful population of Nagorno-Karabakh.

❗️В связи с многочисленными заявлениями со стороны Высокого представителя ЕС по иностранным делам и политике безопасности Ж.Борреля и других представителей институтов ЕС и стран-членов о якобы стремлении России «использовать продовольствие в качестве оружия» считаем необходимым привлечь внимание к следующим моментам:
📈В 2022 г. импорт зерновых в ЕС по сравнению с 2021 г.

📉В то же время экспорт зерновых культур из ЕС рос значительно меньшими темпами – на 41% в 2022 г., а в первом квартале 2023 г. – на 5%. Таким образом, видно, что Евросоюз продолжил активную скупку зерновых на зарубежных рынках, «придерживая» собственный экспорт. Доклад ЕК «Monitoring EU agri-food trade» (июль 2023 г.), стр. 7.
📌Украина остается одним из ключевых поставщиков зерновых в ЕС. С начала реализации «Черноморской инициативы» (ЧИ) с августа 2022 г. идет резкое увеличение объема поставок: июль 2022 г. – 779 тыс. т, август – 960 тыс. т, сентябрь - 1,6 млн т, октябрь – 2,1 млн т, ноябрь - 2,7 млн т, декабрь - 2,5 млн т, январь 2023 г. - 2,2 млн т, февраль – 2,4 млн т. ☝️Тем самым очевидно, что Евросоюз целенаправленно использовал ЧИ для обеспечения собственной продовольственной безопасности, а также получения дополнительных экспортных поступлений от реализации за рубеж зерновых и продуктов их переработки. Откровенно недостоверные сведения, на которые есовские официальные лица опираются в своих выступлениях и публикациях, намеренно вводят в заблуждение.

Borrell and other representatives of EU institutions and member states about Russia's alleged desire to "use food as a weapon", we believe it is necessary to draw attention to the following points:
📈In 2022 the import of cereals in the EU compared to 2021 in value terms increased by 106% (from 6 to 12.7 billion euros) . 📌Ukraine remains one of the key suppliers of grain to the EU. Since the start of the Black Sea Grain Initiative (BSGI) in August 2022 there has been a sharp increase in the volume of supplies: July 2022 - 779 thousand tons, August - 960 thousand tons, September - 1.6 million tons, October - 2.1 million tons, November - 2.7 million tons, December - 2.5 million tons, January 2023 - 2.2 million tons, February - 2.4 million tons. ☝️Thus, it is obvious that the European Union purposefully used BSGI to ensure its own food security, as well as to obtain additional export revenues from the sale abroad of grains and their processed products. What strikes me most is the speed with which the outward civility has fallen away from practically all Europeans, the front they have been hiding behind in recent years, retaining not only the remnants of diplomacy but also traces of elementary ethics. This is a manifestation of what is usually called Nazism – just in relation of Russians.

We are working with our Azerbaijani colleagues and neighbours to stabilise the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, to strengthen trust, and create conditions for the Armenians and Azerbaijanis to resume their normal life together. 💬 The masterpieces of great artists, teachers, friends and followers of Isaak Levitan, including Alexey Savrasov, Vasily Polenov, Konstantin Korovin, Mikhail Nesterov, Igor Grabar, Apollinary Vasnetsov and many others, are rightfully considered to be among the greatest examples of Russian art. They are an inalienable part of the global art heritage.
The works of landscape painters who introduced the world to the lyricism and harmony of Russian nature are an example of true love for the Motherland and an inseparable spiritual link with it.
I am pleased to note that this particular exhibition, the result of successful collaboration between museums and different regions of our country, opens up a new page in the work of the Zvenigorod Manezh.
I am convinced that the exhibition will become a memorable event in the city’s cultural life.

• The prosperity of the West has been achieved by robbing colonies for several centuries. This is a fact. Essentially, this level of development has been achieved by robbing the entire planet. The history of the West is essentially the chronicle of endless expansion.
• This war, the one that the regime sitting in Kiev started with the vigorous and direct support from the West, has been going on for more than nine years, and Russia’s special military operation is aimed at stopping it. And it reminds us that unilateral steps, no matter who takes them, will inevitably prompt retaliation.
• The Ukraine crisis is not a territorial conflict and not an attempt to establish regional geopolitical balance. The issue is much broader and more fundamental and is about the principles underlying the new international order.
