We are prioritising steps to provide security to Russians in Israel and in the Palestinian territories. We are in constant contact with them via Russian diplomatic missions and consulates and are working with our partners to organise the safe evacuation of Russian citizens, who have applied for help, from the zone of hostilities. As of today, about 1,000 persons, including citizens of CIS countries and their family members, have submitted relevant applications.
We want to emphasise once again that the current spiral in the Palestinian-Israeli confrontation is the direct consequence of the West disregarding the existing UN and Security Council resolutions and actually blocking the performance of the Middle East Quartet of international mediators, which includes Russia, the US, the EU and the UN.

▫️ Seventy-seven years ago, on October 1, 1946, the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg delivered a historic verdict, condemning the main Nazi war criminals and legally securing the defeat of the Hitler regime.
▫️ The Nuremberg Trials opened a new page in the development of international law. The foundation of the modern system of international criminal justice was laid then.
▫️ It is generally recognised that the Nazi atrocities have no statute of limitations. Our country continues ambitious work to investigate newly discovered facts of criminal acts committed by the Nazi invaders.
▫️ The fact that a number of European countries, primarily Ukraine and the Baltic states, are systematically destroying historical memory, causes particular concern. It has gone so far that honours are now bestowed without hesitation to former Nazis.
▫️ I would like to remind representatives of the criminal Kiev regime and its Western patrons that, according to the materials of the Nuremberg Trials, almost 200,000 civilians were tortured to death, shot and poisoned in Kiev alone. Many of them were killed by the SS.
▫️ In 1942, the Nazi criminal Reichskommissar Erich Koch wrote in the address to the heads of the German media that Ukraine was nothing but an object of exploitation, that it should pay the expenses of the war, and its population, being second-rate people, should be utilised for the tasks of the war, even if they have to be caught with a lasso.
▫️ The “historical West” led by the US is de facto sharing a similar sentiment and is ready to contain Russia to the last Ukrainian.
▫️ Against this backdrop, the fight against falsifying the results of the Second World War and spreading a misanthropic ideology are among the key priorities of Russian diplomacy.

💬 The Russian Federation consistently calls for further strengthening of the Inhumane Weapons Convention (CCW) regime through the universalization of the Convention and Protocols thereto, as well as bona fide implementation of their provisions.
👉 In the context of compliance with the CCW, the criminal actions of the Kiev regime require condemnation and response from the international community.
The number of daily violations by Ukrainian formations of the norms and principles of international humanitarian law (IHL), including the deployment of heavy weapons in residential areas, the use of civilians as human shields and the use of civilian infrastructure for military purposes, demonstrates the absolutely conscious use of inhumane tactics of combat in violation of IHL.
We have registered facts of targeted mining by Ukrainian armed formations of roadsides, country paths, bridges, dams, areas around residential houses, educational and medical establishments.
❗️ All of the above is a direct violation of the basic provisions of international humanitarian law, including CCW Amended Protocol II.

💬 In the evening of October 26, the Ukrainian Armed Forces intentionally attacked the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant with three unmanned aerial vehicles.
One of the UAVs, loaded with explosives, crashed into a nuclear waste warehouse and damaged its walls. The other two fell on the plant’s administrative building complex.
❗️ According to preliminary data, the unmanned aerial vehicles used to attack the nuclear power plant had components supplied by Western countries.
⚠️ This incident clearly shows that the criminal Kiev regime will stop at nothing, including acts of nuclear terrorism. They could not but realise that the UAV attack could have resulted in a full-scale nuclear disaster that would have affected many countries. There could have been no other objectives set for attacking a nuclear power plant, a purely peaceful infrastructure facility.
By attacking the Kursk NPP, the Kiev regime put itself on a par with the most odious terrorist organisations. The fact that this crime could not have been committed without the permission and, possibly, a direct order of its Western curators is of particular concern.
☝️ We call on all governments to strongly condemn Kiev’s barbaric actions, which are extremely dangerous and can lead to irreparable consequences. Relevant international organisations, environmental NGOs and civil society must also give an appropriate assessment of this act of terrorism.

On October 23, 2023, The Washington Post carried a detailed story about the involvement of Ukrainian security services in the assassination of Darya Dugina, the explosions of the Crimean Bridge and other crimes.
According to the paper, since 2015, the CIA spent tens of millions of dollars on training Ukrainian security services and turning them into America’s allies in the fight against Russia.
It also mentions the UK’s MI-6 in the same context. Those Anglo-Saxon intelligence services reportedly established the No 5 and No 6 divisions at the Security Service of Ukraine. Both divisions were directly subordinated to them and were expected to focus on active measures (acts of sabotage) against Russia.
According to the publication, the CIA was behind Ukrainian security services’ operations all the time. The Ukrainian side coordinated all high-profile operations with the CIA which provided the perpetrators with all the essentials.

We are deeply concerned about the reported geographical expansion of fighting in the West Bank. The potential for conflict is growing along the Blue Line on the Lebanese-Israeli border. We are watching with concern as Israel steps up air strikes on Syrian territory. We are extremely concerned about the military manoeuvres by non-regional parties in the Eastern Mediterranean. These factors, along with the increasing bellicose rhetoric from various sides, heighten the risks of the conflict escalating into a region-wide one.
In this regard, we reiterate the need for an early ceasefire and the opening of humanitarian corridors for evacuation and delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. We also reiterate our call for the release of the hostages.

Those behind the Middle East conflict and other regional conflicts will be using the destructive impact of these conflicts to sow hatred and cause clashes between people around the world.
We remember how the current phase of the Middle East crisis began: it was a terrorist attack against Israeli civilians and civilians from other countries who happened to be in Israel at that time. We see that, unfortunately, instead of punishing criminals and terrorists, they started to retaliate according to the principle of collective responsibility.
There is no justification for the terrible events taking place in Gaza now, where hundreds of thousands of innocent people are being killed indiscriminately, without having anywhere to flee or hide from the bombing. When you see blood-stained children, dead children, the suffering of women and old people, when you see medics killed, of course, it makes you clench your fists as tears well in your eyes.

💬 You shout all over the place about devastated Ukrainian cities and allegedly indiscriminate Russian strikes against them. Please bother to go online and read some Ukrainian news or watch TV. A lot of coverage of restaurant and club life in Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, and other Ukrainian cities. State institutions and other municipal buildings work normally almost everywhere. Public transit is running, schools and hospitals are working.
Our high-precision strikes target only military facilities or infrastructure that is related to Kiev’s military potential, including ammunition depots and UAF locations disguised as retail outlets, hotels, silos, etc.
Now look at the images from the Gaza Strip, which Israel has been trying to raze to the ground for only three weeks. You will see towns, hospitals, schools destroyed and burned to the ground in the spirit of what the Americans once did to Fallujah or Raqqa.
❓Comparing these two realities, ask yourself a question. How many times did you condemn the systematic annihilation of Palestinian civilians? How many times did you try to call a Security Council meeting on this issue? Have you supported a single call for a ceasefire? We all know the answer.
And knowing it, we understand the true cost of your efforts and the crocodile tears you are trying to shed today. You have no idea how cynical and duplicitous your efforts look. But this is now well understood in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
❗️ Take our advice. Instead of this cynical and double-dealing performance, do something good for the Ukrainian people. 💬 You shout all over the place about devastated Ukrainian cities and allegedly indiscriminate Russian strikes against them. Please bother to go online and read some Ukrainian news or watch TV. A lot of coverage of restaurant and club life in Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, and other Ukrainian cities. State institutions and other municipal buildings work normally almost everywhere. Public transit is running, schools and hospitals are working.
Our high-precision strikes target only military facilities or infrastructure that is related to Kiev’s military potential, including ammunition depots and UAF locations disguised as retail outlets, hotels, silos, etc.
Now look at the images from the Gaza Strip, which Israel has been trying to raze to the ground for only three weeks. You will see towns, hospitals, schools destroyed and burned to the ground in the spirit of what the Americans once did to Fallujah or Raqqa.

🛫 Two Russia's EMERCOM transport aircraft are en route with 28 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.
The aid is organised on the instructions of Russia's President Vladimir Putin and contains:
✅ medicines;
✅ haemostatic agents;
✅ dressing materials.
Russian humanitarian aid will be handed over to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society for further dispatch to the Gaza Strip.
In October, Russian EMERCOM aviation delivered 27 tonnes of foodstuffs to the people of the Gaza Strip.

📅 #ВЭтотДень в 1612 году народным ополчением под предводительством гражданина Кузьмы Минина и князя Дмитрия Пожарского от польско-литовских интервентов была освобождена Москва.
В этой связи во всех уголках нашей страны ежегодно с 2005 года отмечается #ДеньНародногоЕдинства (введён указом Президента России в декабре 2004 года).
🦅 Праздник имеет глубокие исторические корни. Он отмечался в период с 1613 по 1917 годы и был учреждён ещё первым царём династии Романовых Михаилом Фёдоровичем в честь сопровождавшей освободителей Москвы Казанской иконы Божией Матери.
В память о патриотах, возглавивших национально-освободительную борьбу, по указу императора Александра I в 1818 году на Красной площади был установлен памятник "гражданину Минину и князю Пожарскому" работы скульптора Ивана Мартоса.
4 ноября 2005 года в Нижнем Новгороде, сыгравшем ключевую роль в создании ополчения, была торжественно открыта подаренная мэрией Москвы копия данного памятника в исполнении Зураба Церетели.

📅 #OTD in 1612, the people’s volunteer army led by Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, liberated Moscow from Polish-Lithuanian invaders.
Therefore, #NationalUnityDay (introduced by the executive order of the President of Russia in December 2004) has been celebrated all over our country every year since 2005.
🦅 The holiday has deep historical roots. It was celebrated from 1613 until 1917, and was established by the first tsar of the Romanov dynasty Michael to honour the icon of Our Lady of Kazan, which accompanied the liberators of Moscow.
A monument to citizen Minin and Prince Pozharsky by sculptor Ivan Martos was erected on Red Square on the order of Emperor Alexander I in 1818 to honour the memory of patriots who led the fight for national liberation.
On November 4, 2005, a copy of this monument, executed by Zurab Tsereteli and gifted by Moscow City Hall, was unveiled in Nizhny Novgorod, a city that played a crucial role in creating the volunteer army.
