One particular on-the-rise scam we want to call attention to is the ‘single near you’ scam
We’ve seen an increase in both the number and the tenacity of this brand of scammers.
These scammers will often appear as single female artists near you. Usually in their 20’s with provocative fursonas.
They tell different groups different backstories and often try to hand waive issue away by saying they were hacked.
A number of furries are taken that someone would show interest in them.
It blinds people to the red flags and makes it hard for them to accept this person isn’t who/what they claim.
Don’t fall for these.
