Hey I have a great collab update for everyone. Some science DAO members have just launched a project to help people distinguish whether something was generated by AI or not. Moving into the future where ai might become completely indistinguishable from human works; technology used to keep AI in check will be very important imo.

They’ve integrated the tech into telegram for ease of use and it is fully functional. We will be adding the bot to the science dao community chat so the science dao members will be able to quickly check where pieces of text/speech were indeed created by humans. This tool I think will be useful for many people into the future, especially school teachers whom will have to determine whether students are creating their own work or relying on artificial intelligence to work for them.

The project just launched. This is not an advertisement of a token. This is just a great highlight of a collab that has been going on within the science dao as well as a highlight of a technology that will be useful in the future.

Our Dao author will be writing a proposal to migrate our lp away from usdc and into another asset. Its very late for him right now, so expect to see something in the morning.

The SVB issue goes beyond Circle and usdc. I’ve been provided with a list of companies and assets held at SVB and the numbers are staggering. A friend sent a video showing the line outside of the bank with people trying to recover funds.

Silicon Valley is a major innovation hub in the USA. My humble opinion is that the fed should step in, otherwise private sector funding of innovation will be set back at least a decade.

We will try and manage the eb and flow and continue to consult and advise on a number of scientific startups that are currently in the stables.

Maybe this is a bit of a bullcase for decentralized funding of scientific startups and innovation in comparison to centrally held and stockpiled funds that are susceptable to whatever just happened at that bank.

Anyway just some thoughts. Expect a DAO proposal coming in from Stephen in the morning. Thanks.

The Science DAO will retain the use-case of allowing teams/individuals to present projects for community investment, but it won't be able to reach its full potential until proper legislation is in place. The Science DAO will be adding features that can be capitalized on immediately, nothing that conflicts with existing laws.
