Some extra rules:
🔖 If you want to bring medications on board, buy original drugs, with the same name as in a prenoscription. Otherwise, they may not be taken or even be prohibited. It may prolong your trip, not in a good way.
🔖 Check the carry-on baggage rules before flight.
🔖 Printing bookings is optional, but sometimes they may be needed at customs or can save you if phone battery is dead.
🔖 Don’t forget your headphones! They will make the whole trip easier and funnier.

Good news! In Spain, intercity buses will be free. The rule will take effect from January 2023 ⚡️
This initiative will compleе the existing one — free travel on the trains of the Renfe carrier (Cercanías, Catalan Rodalies and Media Distancia). The rule applies to medium-distance trips (up to 300 kilometers), does not apply to high-speed trains and one-way tickets, only for multiple-ticket passes. Tickets for short trips are already sold with discounts up to 50%.
Trains are free, but a deposit is required. For Cercanías and Rodalies — 10 €, for Media Distancia — 20 €. Deposit will be returned at the end of the year, but only if have had at least 16 trips in the last 4 months.
The program's goal is to reduce carbon emissions and stop global warming, reduce traffic jams, lower the number of cars, and help people (the initiative saves one family about 150-250 euros). The program will run at least until the end of next year.

Plan for the weekend: explore El Poblenou 🗺
Restaurants, tapas bars, designer showrooms, co-working spaces, coffee shops, galleries and tech company offices are all El Poblenou. The neighborhood is located just east of downtown, between Glories Square and the beach. There used to be warehouses, factories, factories, and manufacturing. Now it’s gradually turning into a creative hub.
Some activites to do:
— With the right weather and the right mood go to Bogatell beach or to Parc Central del Poblenou.
— Grab a late breakfast at the minimalist Little Fern Café. The menu features plant-based New Zealand-style dishes.
— Grab a coffee at Skye Coffee Co. A minimalist coffee shop with a vintage truck (the on in the photo) in a former warehouse building.
— Cocktails evening at Balius. Here you can try a dish from Don Quixote called atascaburras.
— And afterwards — music and fun in one of the best clubs RAZZMATAZZZ. Here for the first time in Spain performed Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand.

Walking tours regulations to come into force 🚏
From 1 March 2023, tour guides in Barcelona can only lead small tourist groups with limit to 20 people maximum. The goal is to reduce the impact of tourism on the daily life of residents in the old town known as Ciutat Vella. The law will also establish maximum capacities for some squares and streets. For example, in Plaça Sant Jaume can be a maximum of 8 groups at the same time. The use of loudspeakers for explanations will be prohibited to minimize their acoustic impact.

¡Hola! 🎄
This week there is still a last chance to visit the oldest Christmas fair, the Fira de Santa Llúcia, which is held every year by the Cathedral of Barcelona. Look for holiday decorations, handmade gifts, Christmas trees, and traditional music instruments.
The market will end on December 23, hurry up! And save the address: Pla de la Seu, s/n, 08002
You can get there by subway:
L1: Catalunya or Urquinaona stations
L3: Liceu or Catalunya stations.
L4: Station Jaume I
Or by bus: 17, 19, 40, 45 and 120.

Which country in 2020 was the 1st in the world with the most bars and restaurants per capita? Spain! There were more bars per inhabitant than hospital beds. But covid and inflation changed everything.
Over the past decade, more than 24,000 bars have closed (about 7 bars a day). Therefore, it is better to go to the bars on the «must-go» list today. Here are 3 bars you don’t want to miss.
Marsella
The first bar in the city, popular for absinthe, this time-worn watering hole was once frequented by Picasso & Hemingway. Time travelers rated this bar 10/10. It feels like a time machine.
Dr. Stravinsky
An upscale cocktail bar with a stylish ambiance serving unusual drinks and gourmet snacks, where you feel like you’re in an alchemist’s lair. One of the 50 best bars in the world.
Solange
This premium cocktail bar named after the James Bond lady from Casino Royale. Bond himself would have liked the bar — the agent would have appreciated the classic interior, drank a martini, and met someone special.
