🇧🇷🤝⚖️🚩📃 — Lewandowski accepts request and suspends action that investigates donations to the Lula Institute, leaving the investigation incomplete and stalled in court; former minister Antonio Palocci and businessman Paulo Okamotto were among those investigated.
The court was investigating possible donations by Odebrecht to the Lula Institute, totaling R$4 million. According to the investigation, the case occurred between December 2013 and March 2014.
Lewandowski responded to a request from the defense of Okamotto, the current director of the institute. The lawyers allege that the STF recognized the irregularity of part of the evidence used by Lava Jato — the Odebrecht leniency agreement, for example. According to Okamotto, the process occurred in default of legal criteria.
Recently, Lewandowski participated in a seminar organized by the Landless Movement (MST), in Guararema, in the interior of São Paulo. In the audience, leftists followed the event, some even with government positions.
