🇧🇷🚩🔓⚖️ — Former governor of Rio de Janeiro, Sérgio Cabral is acquitted by the Justice in a lawsuit about embezzlement of money in subway works; the crimes he was convicted of amounted to more than 400 years in prison - now, nothing counts.
According to the preliminary injunction, the former governor had no proven involvement in the case of embezzlement of money in the integration works of Line 1 of the Metro. Even at liberty, Cabral will have to comply with precautionary measures, such as wearing an electronic anklet and appearing monthly in court.
Cabral was suspected of involvement in the scheme that embezzled money in the works to integrate Line 1 of the Metro/Subway, an intervention made for the 2016 Olympics.
The entire process was annulled, in the same variant that annulled Lula's processes.

— Have you thought about the image that this passes on to the lower population? Imagine you, as a citizen of Rio de Janeiro, suffering with a government that shamelessly embezzled money (the result, the proof, is RJ currently in his mode),and after justice comes, justice soon after goes away.
For an ordinary citizen, it just goes to show that crime doesn't matter. This generates anger and disgust in the citizen.Whether this is good or not, I leave it to the future to decide.
